what happens if I apply for housing after the housing deadline?

Hi! I’m transferring to CSULB for Fall 2022 and you mentioned “Week of Welcome” for freshman’s but do you know if it’s available for out-of-state transfers moving into the dorms as well? Thanks!

is the week of activities for freshmen before class starts just for those living on campus or all freshmen?

When I was in the dorms when they started it, it was for everyone living on campus. But they changed it so now freshmen move in earlier and have a week of activities and everyone else moves in later.

So do you need a higher gpa is your a non resident

You'll be fine I promise! The advisors will still work with you to get the classes you need. As a first semester freshman, you haven't taken any of your requirements yet so there are so many options! The times might not be the absolute best, but I promise it will work out. Let me know how it goes!

So sorry for the late response! Yes, you should. Unfortunately, the system is a bit messed up in that you have to pay the non-refundable housing application deposit for some schools before you've even heard back from others :/ Definitely apply for housing if you're considering CSULB because it's limited and goes fast.

Jeffry G. I’m not sure. What else does it say? It might just mean it’s conditional on what grades you get this semester. If anyone else knows, please help! 😅

Its for thoughs who are trasfering to the college The school is waiting for you to complete ine of the general education classes that you have remaining

Do you know what the difference is between a major and a pre-major?

A pre-major is when you're taking your pre-requisites for getting into the actual program, and the major is when you've been accepted into the program and are taking your major specific classes.

Hmm, not sure how that works. They might have makeup dates? I think they're doing it virtually this summer anyway though.
