CSR - Coatesmans Ultra Light Single Roller Gun Muzzle

Спорт

The ALL NEW Coatesman Single Roller Speargun Muzzle: coatesmans.com/shop/csr-singl...
This ultra light weight single roller speargun muzzle is the lightest roller muzzle with ceramic bearings on the market. This solves the issue with short roller guns being muzzle heavy and eliminates the need for cuttlefish barrels or floatation on shorter guns.
The CSR has been specifically designed to be as compact and low profile as possible, using 14mm bands and 7mm shaft. Careful attention has been made to where the bands lie along the barrel. Reducing the overall profile of the gun. This makes the CSR roller on a Rob Allen carbon Barrel and Vecta2 handle the ultimate (Euro style pipe) single roller on the market.
Almost a decade of roller gun muzzle design and experimentation has gone into making the CSR the most high performance single roller muzzle available. Without compromising on the same proven construction and robust materials used in the CDR3 series.
The CSR comes with the ‘Easy Load Pretension Hooks’ system. Eliminating any potential snags common on the old mushroom anchor points. This also makes attaching and detaching the rubbers simple and easy.
The CSR muzzle is best suited for guns 700-1100cm

    I got a CDR from you a few years back and absolutely love it. I'm interested in a 110 CSR set-up. Do you still do full custom set up with a carbon RA barrel, or are you selling just the roller head and parts?

    Hey Chris the muzzle looks awesome. Do you see a problem with using the CSR in combination with sharkfin shafts? And do you know if uneven wishbones have any advantage with the CSR?

  • @CoatesmansSpearfishing

    @CoatesmansSpearfishing

    The muzzle has been designed so you don't need a uneven wishbone. The rails are very low and only designed for 6mm-7.5mm notched shafts. For shark fins you have to have high side rails which are not great for the guns the CSR has been designed for.

    How does this compare to the rob allen roller muzzle? Is it the same build quality, same efficiency, and same power? Is the only difference the weight of it? Also, you should come to the UAE, 1 hour boat ride out and we get 60 kg king mackerel, but they have teeth so be careful.

  • @CoatesmansSpearfishing

    M7airbi, I love hunting Kings in the Gulf. Can't wait to get back. The CSR is 50g lighter than the RA muzzle and uses a smaller ceramic bearing. The CSR has been designed to be as light as possible to full fill a specific need in the short roller gun market. The RA on the other hand is designed (as all RA products) to be virtually indestructible. So they use the largest and strongest bearings. As far as efficiency the small rollers are super smooth and the power will be determined by the rubber & shaft setup. The CSR is specifically designed for small rollers needing to be light for buoyancy and sleek for maneuverability and visual down the gun. I am sure you guys are using 120 &130 rollers, on this length gun the RA is 100%
