To be honest, I was so happy about Liverpool beating Spurs in the League Cup Final a few days earlier that I didn’t mind so much going out of Europe, even in these dubious circumstances! For their part Tottenham got some compensation for their Final defeat a few hours after this game, by going through in their ECWC tie against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Those days, Sofia was a tough city to conquer. The iron curtain, the typical cold, the 70 thousand spectators. The European champions, they must've felt fear at some moments of the game.

Много тихо на стадиона бе,пълен е,а се чува какво си говорят отделни хора.За сравнение левски атлетико мадрид.Пак претъпкан стадион и уникален шум от 80000 сини сърца
