.bat files are microsoft windows files. .bat won't work on Linux. This is a windows tutorial if you can't tell.

Hey, yes, you would have to search for workshop map's bsp file and then just add it to your servers csgo>maps folder and extra copy to your own csgo maps folder Edit : if you don't know where to find the workshop bsp it's usually located here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\maps\workshop You will see a bunch of number folders in those you will find the bsp files, then just add one copy to your server and one bsp copy to your csgo maps folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\maps" (This is to avoid seeing a message that you're missing the bsp file) change to the desired map via console (Changelevel workshop_map_name) or type (.map workshop_map_name) and it will change Just did it to my pracc server - prnt.sc/uf3Qi68P2aS5 (works fine)

portforwarding is dangerous and you should just buy a VPS if you want to host games

After i lunch csgo and open the start.bat its just doesnt work i mean its keep say in the cmd the same thing(C:\csServer\server>Start.bat string - srcds -game csgo -console -usercon +game_type 0 +game_mode 1 +mapgroup mg_active +map de_dust2 -tickrate 128). Do u have any idea whats the problem?

Hey, you shouldn’t insert the description of start.bat string from the description just everything after “string -“ so removing “start.bat string -“ from your start.bat will resolve the issue

Hey, I did everything as was shown and yesterday everything worked, I was able to join the server and do stuff. Today, however, I encountered a weird thing where I join my server and I just can't connect. No errors, it just gets me back in the main menu. What do I do? Hey, as mentioned in the video, you can see the full list of available commands on every plugin page, drawothermodels can be executed trough -console that is launched together with the server, it's the other CSGO icon

Hey, if the issue described is server not showing up, check if your running on multiple ip's, you can always enable firewall manually, In windows search > Windows Defender Firewall > Allow an app of feature through Windows Defender Firewall > enable (Private/Public) communication for "srcds", if you can't find srcds in the "allowed apps and features" list then press on "Change settings" and add csgo srcds from your server folder by pressing on "Allow another app..."

wdym by choose? just .map anubis in chat and it will take you to anubis, or map anubis in server console it's an active duty map, it has to be available

Try adding " to the steam id like this "STEAMID" , and try to change this followcsgoserverguidelines from "no" to "No", or if you have hamachi delete it.

Please help me, anyone who understands how to help. Every time I write '.Setup', I get the server response, 'You don't have permission to access practicemode'. I entered my Steam ID as shown in the video, reinstalled the entire server several times, but nothing helps. It worked for me the first time I joined, but the second time I got kicked out and it said 'no user logon'.

Hey, it’s because you and your brother share the same network (IP), you have to port forward your router to allow connections from different locations and then you will have to add a token, there are plenty of tutorials online on how to do so, then your friends from Turkey will be able to join too

As I explained in the video, when we launched our server, you can open your server using port forward or something like hamachi to connect, this video showcases how to install a lan server (local network) but you can always add your friends via hamachi

Hey, do you have any vpn’s or hamachi installed already? Try disabling then try again, you can type in “status” in the server console to see if your uid ip matches your ipv address, if it doesn’t you have another ip interrupting you from joining

you probably didnt save it as "all files" when you saved it. You might have to scroll up to see the option. when you hit save as, make sure the box underneath where you enter the file name is set to all files

Hey, no worries Denis, most likely you did something wrong while installing the plugin, did you grant admin permissions for yourself? You can as well try by reinstalling the plugin provided, if non of the plugins work, try reinstalling sourcemod and metamod, then just extract the practice mod plugin again (This has always helped me) To reinstall, just drag all the files from zip folders on top of the old ones in the server folder

Hey, thank you for the comment, there are specific steps to install the server on linux, all of the steps are listed on the steam cmd site, first link in the descriptions “download section”

somethings wrong with the way you installed it, try it again, don't forget you need both sourcemod and metamod to install the plugin, repeat the previous steps till you install the practice mod by splewis and you can try again (that's the plugin that has those .prac / .setup commands)

Hey, if you have practice mod by splewis installed, then after the setup enabling the timer that is displayed should count down to 00:00 and it stays like that for the rest of the session, there’s no exact way to stop the counter, either expire or set a long enough duration

Not a single vac has been detected, you don’t put in a “gslt token” for this server too, which is linked to your account and was the reason for the bans in 2014-2016 when people used the knives/skins plugin (people catched on and started creating bot/server steam accounts for the tokens) and it wasn’t worth the effort for valve to hunt them down, that’s my bald theory on this subject of what I have absorbed on the internet (sorry for the long history lesson, hope it calms you down)

If you want to make a multiplayer/online server (which will require the gslt token) then you can buy one from a token service, I used one before and it cost me about 3€ per year or just make a burner account on steam

if you have port forwarded your router and have added a token to your start.bat, yes, you can give ip to join, if not your best option is to download hamachi and ask your friends to do it too, it's easy process to set you all up on one network, if you have trouble there are a lot of tutorials how to do it, if you're successful with hamachi it should just pop up in their lan tabs just like it is for you!
