Never enough ten mothers farm. Pretty much the epitome of a smart, well managed and run small farm. Neat, articulated, well thought out and efficient. I am certainly going to take more than just a few lessons when i start my own.

@@dreamcastH Still jockeying for land. I live in the second densest metro area in europe, finding even an acre at non-ridiculous prices is a feat around here.

@@aenorist2431 Sorry to hear that. I am surrounded by farms just outside my city but any land for sale is pricey right now.

I really like how they think through their systems.

Man, I'm doing a project on CSAs and applying Lean principles and this was EVERYTHING! ty for the share!

i love Vera and Gordon and Ten mothers farm. They're in the cutting edge of farming; I hope more and more people are inspired to go into farming because of them. Great stuff.

I was already impressed when I first saw you starting your farm.This has to be the most spacious, neat and orderly greenhouse I have seen on You Tube. Truly a construction (Greenhouse) and business model. What are the specs of this setup? Great job everyone can learn from your example. Thanks for sharing.

What a dream set up. Even using sheet wood instead if the cheap MDF or chipboard for the packing stand. Fingers crossed itl be a good year and i can upgrade to something like this.

What a setup! I enjoy what I hear, but are they using a software to figure out orders that are coming in, subbing other different veg, etc? If so what program or is this all through excel spreadsheets?

This is great. What was the name of the csa software they use again? I'm trying to look for it online. I probably have the spelling wrong.

Yeah sounds like having a lot of veggies hanging about that no one wants.

CSA meaning

I’d rather have the members inform me ahead of the season what they like and don’t like from a list of vegetables so that I don’t have to deal with it twice a week for an entire year, year after year. No?
