By far, ML is a great foundational class for anyone looking to further explore machine learning algorithms. I have found it as a pivotal class before I took RL and DL. Congrats getting through this class

Just curious what was your score on A3? Also as a side note, it might be better to explain in more detail what they were looking for, and subsequently what you missed points for. This may help future students to understand the hidden rubric, which as you mentioned in part 1 is not always 100% transparent even if viewing office hours.

Thanks, that's really helpful! Going to take this course this Fall. Do you have to implement all these algorithms (SVM, DT, NN etc.) by yourself or you could use the implemented ones like the scikit-learn package?

You can (and should) leverage existing implementations!

What was your canvas grade at withdraw deadline?

Well the annoying thing with the class is that the grades are pretty slow to get back to you. At the withdrawal deadline the only grade (literally only one grade) that was in canvas was your A1 grade, which was like a 92 or something for me. But I was considering withdrawing just because I knew my A2 and midterm scores were going to be low (though it wasn’t as bad as I expected I guess)

I'm registered for Machine Learning for Trading right now, though I may drop it if I end up getting into Digital Marketing (MGT6311). I am starting a new job and want to keep the GT stuff as light as possible right now

@@bryan_truong I got into ML4T as well. It will be my second course in the program. I took IYSE 6501 as my first course and loved it.
