For the arrow keys you don't need to use Fn you can use the "mod tap" instead, where tapping the key would result in an arrow key being pressed and holding the key would be the other function, ctrl and shift and alt all need to be long pressed so it's very intuitive for arrow keys.

I've wondered about this. I use a clunky clicky heavy feel for typing. I think it's actually bad for movement in gaming. I might switch keyboard when I play. I like to completely disable the windows key. I've accidentally switched to a different desktop and not known how to get back. Ctrl-win-d for example, and all the apps look like they've closed

Translation from keyboard entusiast to keyboard noob: he said change your switches (Lekker60s) to switches with less wobble and with deeper sound tho take note that jades have shorter springs so actuation point would be 0.1-3.8mm (wobble is very noticble on lekkers v1 just move w left and right). Tofu redux is aftermarket keyboard case looks like a brick. It kinda changed acustics of keyboard but it is not required.

The only two pros of this keyboard are, that you don't have to inform yourself about building a keyboard yourself with the switches you want and don't have to mess with soldering/hotswap and all the good stuff. But for someone like me who is building keyboards, this keyboard is disrespecting the scene xD For example, I can buy myself some Cherry MX Speed Silver switches for keys that I want to have responsive with a low actuation force and low travel distance And I can buy f. ex. Cherry MX Reds for the rest which have a higher actuation force and longer travel. Then I can choose my keyboard size freely and so on and so on... It's just more fun and this keyboard takes the cool part out of this hobby. The second pro is, it's making the hobby affordable. Typed from a 400$ Custom Keyboard xD Greetings

Not sure it made me better at the game but it's way more confortable to have low actuation point imo. Rapid trigger is insanely good in Overwatch (the game, not the anti cheat) because movement doesn't have inertia so ADAD spam is VERY strong in that game. Again not sure it gives an edge in cs because of the inertia, but it's definitely more confortable and relaxing for the fingers.

I used to say the same thing buying only 15-50% amazon keyboards, then at a certain point I started looking at duckys and high end logitech boards and found someone recommending me to wooting. The life span is a lot longer, the tech is the future and genuinely a game changer, best purchase I've ever made for myself gaming wise. 2-3 70$ games, or one keyboard that will change the way you play for ever. Logitechs high end gaming keyboard that just came out it LEAGUES behind hall-effect keyboards like this simply because they use old technology. You can find cheaper hall-effect such as the steelseries apex pro mini on sale for 150 on amazon but they still aren't nearly as fast, or the razer huntsman mini on sale for 75 usually 150. If you're on that strict of a budget then I'd definitely go for one of those, it's better than not having a keyboard like this at all. However, if you can afford it then the wooting will be worth the while, they were ahead of their time giving them research advantages for new features as well, one called "Rappy Snappy" which is coming out very soon and will potentially revolutionize counter strafing with this keyboard in counter strike.

$200 is not that bad for a keyboard. You’re paying for the software and the things you can edit within that software to enhance gaming experience.
