if you watch some of their matches he gets quite a few snap headshots on people he isnt peeking at by aiming across the map quickly i think hes just used to the accel. even ive gotten used to 1.05 accel for this purpose, but 1080 res now thats what i find unplayable

I play with really low sensitivity with mouse acc on because with low sensitivity it gives you better aim however if someone is behind you, you wont be able to to a full 180 in 1 full swipe with your mouse so the mouse acc helps turn faster with low sens.

***** Your statement kind of contradicts itself. You just said that mouse acceleration in windows is different but in CSGO it makes it go faster... Thats exactly what mouse acceleration does. It slightly speeds up but then it has to decelerate meaning if you stop moving your mouse it needs a "Cool down" til the mouse comes to a complete stop. In theory this is bad because it has a chance of destroying your aim. Previous comments lead me to believe that low sensitivity counters that... although the sensitivity would need to be quite low to be somewhat effective.

the razer death adder is the best mouse Ive ever used. i got it back in 2013 and haven't had a single problem with it (even though its only a single year's worth of use) i can see why all the pro's use it. its perfect, has all the features you need and none you don't, for a reasonable price (i think it was around 50$)

Look at n0things ears, thats what happens if you wear a headset while growing up.

Get a mouse with no acceleration (optical) and put it on 400 dpi. Get a good black mouse pad, light mouse and you'll have no problem.

I'm used to it, do you have enhanced pointer tunred off and cpl/cheese mouse fix? It took me a day to go from 2000dpi to 400, and now I have no problem turning like I want. My arm was sore the next day though, due to more movement.

So basically the most common gaming keyboards are SteelSeries 6Gv2 Red or Black switches, Razer BlackWidow (switches not identified). Mice are steelseries sensei down to rival. Razer Deathadder and zowie mice.

I have a mouse that can go to 12k DPI and I just started using 400 DPI cause that's what all the pros are doing, it really feels more engaging, maybe you feel more lazy if you're just moving your wrist, but feel more energetic when you move entire arm, pro vs noob

I posted that a week ago, I'm now using 700 DPI and it's perfect. I came from using 3600 DPI and I thought going down to something like 400 would be too low, I got used to 400 DPI, and then 3600 became too high! But 700 DPI is very precise and very fast to me, feels awesome. It might have a little to do with the amount the arm moves, but more importantly it's more accurate as well.

Milchbengel z You can't infinitely reduce the sensitivity in most games. Also most of the games do have a limit of how low you can go.

ademkin We all know that French is not that good at speaking English (because of the education ofc.). But he plays CS, you kinda need to know English in order to play. Otherwise you will be that shitty player who is not talking or only speaking his own language. And he is a pro. So basically his comment was totally valid. And if you watch Screams stream, he knows English. So ether he is not comfortable enough in front of the camera or he is to proud. Anyway, it's just weird to have people translate for you if you know the language.

Got a Roccat Savu, with -3 sens mouse driver, 800 DPI, 6/11 windows sense and 2.19 in game. I play on 4:3 1280x1024 black bars, with a razer 2013 blackwidow, a razer goliathus speed edition, and the Grado PS500e for my headphones (It's not a gaming headset as I'm a bit of an audiophile, but I plug it into a creative xi-fi 5.1 soundcard whenever I'm playing some CS). So far with these settings I got to LE from Silver Elite Master in like 6 months.

I just like that he call himself swag, but I can't say he seems to have it x)

The resolution and DPI seems to be very common among good players. I'm playing on Full HD and 1000 DPI (2 In Game) but I'm / was LEM as well (Solo Queue)

try to find a perfect sensi and dpi for you. not everyone is playing on 400dpi and 1.5 sens for example.. i personally play 400dpi and 3 sens and i enjoy it

You're right about that, but if you have a shitty $10 keyboard that doesn't respond fast enough or gets stuck you're gonna have a hard time. All that matters is you have one that's solid and won't fall apart after a month.

6 is generally ideal, depending on what mouse you have or if raw sensitivity isn't implemented correctly, having it high has the possibility to screw up the smoothness of your mouse movement in game, and throw off all your dpi and sensitivity settings (possibly) it's just generally a good idea to keep it at 6/11 so you're guaranteed to have a 1:1 ratio between what the mouse is showing your computer, and what the OS is giving to the game you're playing.

Remember muscle memory? Well it turns out consistent acceleration, which is very hard to get used to, is a thing. This means Swag can flick accurately because....he's the best (just because he can do accurate flicks with mouse acceleration, and I think that is really cool)

I played on a tiny mouse pad for years. I've changed to 450 dpi and 4.2 sens, but I feel like it's too low at times, and too high at others. Just gotta get use to moving my entire arm around I suppose.

Josh Mclaughlin Because some have played the older versions of CS (1.6 and source) back in the time when the 4:3 aspect ratio was standard, and 16:9 wasn't popular, and few manufacturing companies made monitors in that ratio. Some also say that lower resolution and smaller screen to focus on helps them to focus on their crosshair and everything else more easily, whilst sacrificing a wider FOV. That's personal preference, though.

True, but that's not the only reason; many pros use 16:9 and get 700~ FPS at low resolutions.

Exactly.I use 1080p when playing CS:GO and rarely dip below 200fps in any scenario.

is 800 dpi, 4 sensitivity good? raw input. ( i dont have large mouse space like the guys in the video so if i lower to 2, it feels bad) i also pivot from my wrist's so my hand is doing the aim not my whole arm
