Classic CS was really something else. Every weapons have unique shooting sounds (ak47, awp), and even unique reloading sounds (shotgun, m249) Truly, one of the games that defines our childhood

cs 1.6 has the most satifying and unrealistic reload sounds and animations

@@fudge7534 I will say it's just evident that Valve didn't bother sending any of their animators to a shooting range to test fire some guns before creating the reload/charging animations for it. Video games have definitely come a long way ie. Modern Warfare where they even implement things like press checks, shotgun chamber AND magazine tube reload, tactical reloads, etc. If you own firearms, you'll appreciate the effort certain developers have incorporated into their shooter platforms.

@@shafizzimiji478 Sure but I've seen an idiot pull at a forward assist on an AR-15 before assuming that was a charging handle. Upon transitioning to real firearms, I realized I actually picked up a lot of bad information and misconceptions about firearms from playing FPS's in the early 2000s. Stuff like: 1. The charging handle on a modern AR-15 platform is not the forward assist 2. Guns are way louder than we presume and shooting without ear-pro is a really bad idea. 3. Modern firearms are not impervious to malfunctions. In fact, malfunctions can happen a lot for a litany of reasons. 4. Firing 3 controlled shots at a 50 yd target within 5 seconds is incredibly difficult. 5. Handguns are much harder to accurately shoot beyond 5 yds than I imagined.

Five seven is the fanciest gun in this game ever. It did justice to its fancy sounding number as a name. It had to be lifted up sideways in the air when the slide has to be pulled. It had to be swerved a bit before you put the new magazine lol
