Hi, I was using OINV Cntct code but it shows a number instead of a text in the report.. Can u please help me how o resolve the display to string?

Create a formula element then use totext function in the field you want to covert then drag that formula element to the report.

what is the link to the data base and how to connect it?

Depends on what dabase are u using. If it is MS SQL or Oracle you can do the connection directly from Crystal. But if it is MySQL or Ms access you need first create odbc connection in your computer from control panel and then from Crystal reference that odbc connection.

This is terrible. Why don't you should the most basic element, which is how to set up database connections. You already setup a server and connected to it. That step should not be skipped. You should tell someone exactly how to connect to several databases of different types.
