Crystal Project: VS The Enforcer (Hard Mode)

Warlock and Summoner are real MVPs in this game... Up until they run out of MP.
My Summoner was using something called the Stealth Robe, which lets them avoid AoE physical attacks as long as they're not top threat. It can be found somewhere in the Sequoia dungeon. I don't think it played that much of a factor in this particular recording though. Not as much as the Awake Ring at least.

I forget precisely how I beat this fellow, but I know I did a similar thing to you with that robe, actually - I had a Ninja with Samurai secondary hold aggro via pure damage output, so they didn't need their MP at all as all they'd use was the Samurai abilities ... Even though that only let one mage dodge and retain all of their MP. I think I had the other just really efficient at restoring their own...? The comp I'd used (for pretty much all of the secret fights, swapping the last char's Wiz on a few with Nomad): Weaver/Aegis Summoner/Scholar Ninja/Samurai Wizard~Warlock (I forget which was the main class) I do recall THIS fight being the one that gave me the most trouble out of the sea bosses, too. Awesome victory - I'm almost a bit too intimidated to touch Hard mode myself. And wow, they really did improve Beatmaster, huh? I haven't played since before they got buffed.

Yeah, people in the past month have really come around on Beatsmith. It's a great class to pair Valkyrie with for tanking purposes, but it's also now recognized as one of the most damaging classes in the game when paired with Nomad and appropriate gear for an absurd regular attack build. Opinions on both Beatsmith and Nomad have basically done a complete 180 once we all realized how to optimize them.
