Burn at left back and fally-down Longstaff playing yet again nearly always means defeat away from home. Baffled at Eddie’s set-up for this one

He played CB and LB for Brighton… and even Wigan. Howe signed him to be Adaptable as a left footed CB that can play in LB. Also since he finally got Sven Botman from Lille, who is also a left footed CB who likes to play on the left side CB. Which is where Burn plays. But in Howes eyes, Botman was better than Burn in that position (before his injury) and was signed for €35m so he plays there. So Burn has to play in LB. Really Newcastle should go look for a great ‘proper’ LB and kerb burn as, a back up to Botman. Burn’s getting old anyway. 33.

Our reality is as follows, not winning this match means no chance for cups. No cups results in no money for the club, meaning not only will we have to sell some of the better players, we don't have much of an argument to bring in someone of value. Eddie Howe looks like a nice guy, but this season has been fucked up in an exemplary way, so have a good summer, next season doesn't promise to be any better.

It was NOT just contact. It was a PULL which is a FOUL. Whether its enough to cause a player to fall is irrelevant.
