As everyone knows, the original version gets taken down almost faster than we fans, can keep re-uploading. The explanation behind "Kept" is, that it was a limited run. This was done to incentivize people to purchase the -- physical copies, on CD or Vinyl Records for the Amnesty (I) album. The profits made from this "limited run", deluxe set was donated to Amnesty International. Of coarse, little did the "powers that be" discover that Kept would become, one of Crystal Castles biggest hits. Kept was, more or less, considered a throw-a-way bonus song. They originally thought, because of its "experimental electronic sound" classification, that their fan base would consider it, to be an -- "Oh Well... Whatever" and well, that would be that; nevertheless, the experiment turned into genius. For a while, I worked for a large multi-media company in Los Angeles, where my responsibilities included contracts, copyright law, and legal enforcement within its "Business Law" division. Under a "good-faith clause", Amnesty International could seek legal action if, the song Kept was re-released, however, it's still questionable regarding any digital sales; but, I recently discovered the song was taken off of the digital sales websites, also. Although, KZread hates it, dedicated fans keep uploading this song and why not -- it's a masterpiece.

@Leandra Hinojosa I personally wouldn't say to "screen record" only because ripping music, is still ripping and without understanding it you, now just painted a huge target on -- Vimeo, Inc's back. And always remember, KZread has people, who scan for details to have uploaders either gain a penalty or have their account deactivated.

I did the exact same thing, so your not alone; but, it's a good idea to do so. I have rarities, like this of other bands. They are worth a fortune. I had one friend willing to buy form me, a very rare, "fan release vinyl" of the Cocteau Twins for $1,500 and I replied: "Not only 'No'; but, 'Hell No'... !!!" So, maybe this album could be like that one? BTW: My buddy is still, my buddy, but he wants me to give it to him, when I die. I said, "Sure, why not, what are friends for?"

@@spinglasshydra Yeah, I've come to the same conclusion. I missed out on a vinyl set i really liked, it was about 200 dollars new but now it's closer to a thousand dollars and really hard to find. I really should've bought that one.

Crystal castles is literally my favorite band ever and this song is one of my favorites from them. it just gives me some type of specific vibes that I cant get anywhere else in music. I love them so much this is why they are my favorite music producers
