I feel so bad for Alice. No one deserves to go through anything like what she did ever. And the fact he threw her on concrete they made a SONG CALLED CONCRETE as being through sexual assault recently that song really sat with me because of the harsh techno it helped me cope. So wow I can’t believe what she was feeling :(

I grew up watching much older and scummier guys in bands creep on my then underage female friends. Some of them have never really recovered from being groomed, exposed, and abused. Maybe it's suspicious to you that people would be so quick to attack this guy, but why are you other commenters so quick to defend him? It doesn't take a jury to make someone a scumbag. Also, I totally get it. Me and most of my friends in high school were "rejects" in some way shape or form and our parents were total garbage so we basically made our own laws and ways of living so back then this grooming behavior felt more acceptable because we were young and wanted to mature and rebel. Even the older scumbags creeping on the people my age were very emotionally stunted and it makes sense that they would gravitate toward people closer to their own emotional age, but little to nothing will ever undo the damage that was done because of it. He was 25 and she was 15 and that's all you need to know. It's over and instead of arguing over this douchebag we should be watching out for our peers and loved ones and even the ones we don't love so much so that they aren't preyed upon by delusional man children because this is happening everyday all around you and hardly anyone cares. MeToo is the tip of the iceberg. We have not even scratched the surface and with the direction the world is heading I'm not sure we ever will, so go ahead and mourn the innocence of your future siblings, children, and significant others because it's just going to keep happening. It's not hard to believe someone who needs help. Even if you don't believe them, it's not your job to evaluate how true they are, it's your responsibility to try to help make them safer and to trust them because they are a goddamn child and they deserve patience. You can believe someone and help protect them without deeming another person unforgivably irredeemable as judge jury and executioner. It's up to those two to decide who to forgive and when to move forward and how to heal, and there's nothing wrong with saying that something scummy is scummy. We can all do better.

@@AGILISFPV part of Alice's "abuse" evidence was that Ethan threw her phone out the window. She hasn't been through real abuse . So her abuse allegations was baseless BS . she had to paint the whole thing with broad strokes so that her subjective experience of "emotional abuse" would equal actual physical abuse. Everyone who's in a relationship could claim "emotional abuse" because its subjective - and you have to actually be in that relationship to really know the details of why someone feels that way..and alot of times its a misunderstanding. And we've only heard her side and he denies it. so its a one sided accusation .and basic people like you just go along with the herd. She used the court of public opinion to convict him- . ... She went crazy bitter ex in a political climate that was slanted in her favor automatically. this is a quote from Alice's sister who was around them throughout the years and knew more about the situation than any of us. "Alice was never abused. If anything she was manipulated by Claude(Ethan) during their relationship. She is the one who wants to be a victim. Its sad and disrespectful to people who have endured actual abuse."

I don’t think it’s her fault. She first have the benefit of a high school education, then grew up screaming into a mic. She’ll sit how she wants! What does everyone want to criticize and reinforce that she’s weak?? Maybe some self reflection on what helps women succeed in life.

Young people lack experience, which is why they do not have good discernment when it comes to making life choices; which art to consume, which clothes to wear, which friends to keep, what foods to eat etc. Part of growing up is learning to choose what is actually good for you in the long run. Unfortunately by the time you’ve figured it out you’re old, and the next generation isn’t interested in what you’re trying to say.

She said in her I-D interview that she was 16 when she joined Crystal Castles. She also retweeted a pitchfork article that linked Ethan to the abuse pretty damningly. She also basically "affirmed her abilities" (which she urged young people to do when in an absuve relationship in her tweet) when Ethan undermined her contribution to CC. There are also many smaller things which lead me to be pretty certain the abuse was from Ethan.

Show proof of the interview, and photographic proof of the passport. The latter seems dubious, how would someone get hold of a scan of her passport? In her statement about leaving CC, she said it was a combination of professional and personal reasons. "Artistic differences" falls under the banner of a professional reason. I don't see how she contradicts herself at all.

People on this comment section keep trying to fish abusive behaviour from Ethan in this video, but the thing is Alice stated he was good in keeping those things private. I mean, if none of that had happened you'd never point theses things out just from what you see here, and just because there's no evidence found in an interview filmed in a studio doesn't mean you should believe her less. I just... find it weird that people think this short clip could tell much? Her discomfort is quite noticeable though.
