Nintendo Switch is actually a next gen title. The Wii U was the PS4, X1 gen. The Wii was in the PS3, 360 Gamecube PS2, OGX N64 during the PS1 etc.

I’m guessing you said TimeSplitters because Crytek used to own the rights to it? Crytek no longer own TimeSplitters, Deep Silver does and they’re making a sequel with the same people that made the original games right now. Probably gonna get remasters as well because Deep Silver loves pumping out those.

At this point, Crysis is a benchmark for the switch and will melt that Tegra X1 chip inside. Such a miracle that can run Crysis 1 remastered barely at 30fps with SVOGI and other extremely advanced effects that even Nintendo's first party games don't have.

Sadly its been confirmed that Crysis 2 and 3 won't be getting multiplayer as part of the remaster, but Crysis 3's multiplayer is still populated and there are people playing on the weekends.

It's weird to say it's "remastered for next gen" when its only backwards compatible for PS5 and Series X|S If its Backwards Compatible for Current Gen then really it's remastered for Last Gen right?

My 840M can't even run the original on very high settings at 1080p (original Crysis needs at least 4GB of VRAM and GTX1050 mobile and BARELY gets 60fps).

The first remake has issue with the CPU utilization, did they fixed those?

This game was way ahead of its time, glad that they brought remastered vsn. I'm not gonna play it again though !

Hope it included Crysis: Warhead as well. That game was badass.

Crysis 1 Remastered added gobal illumination, SSR, HDR, and better textures - so you'll probably get something along those lines. Here's hoping the list of cut features will be shorter this time around, though.

Saints row trilogy

Still one of my favorite trilogy, the first one is my first non-linear game I’ve ever played, even earlier than GTA. The second one feels like a Michael Bay movie combined with an alien shooter. The third one is less well-polished but technically the most visually stunning like the beginning of the second stage and draws a decent conclusion to the series

2 and 3 are literally Call of Duty with a super suit. If you've only played the first one and Warhead... prepare to be incredibly disappointed.

Fully open world Crysis (Universe) story. I'd love to see what could be done. Other places, other planets?

If they decide to make Crysis 4..The story will continue to Prophet and take the fight in the Ceph Homeworld in the M33 galaxy mentioned both in Crysis and Crysis 3. Psycho acquire his nanosuit back, nomad will reveal himself alive, and NANOSUIT 3. Anything is possible.

The first game is a classic. The sequels were not even close. Why did they do this? I’d much rather see a TRUE sequel. Who’s with me?

Bought the first crysis game in like 2014-15 and bought the two sequels after finished the first. Let me tell you that this is what a top tier video game trilogy looks like. I'm currently on my 4th play through of crysis.

Hopefully they are making these remasters to earn money , just so they could invest it into Crysis 4.

@@davidbischi They got hacked few months ago and there were documents leaks which showed they have plans for Crysis remasters , their release dates , a crysis next game , a crysis battle royale and a Ryse next game .

Sad if Warhead isn't included, it's one of my favorite parts and the one part that got me hooked into Crysis back when it launched

@@DarkSentinel7 still amazes me though, that we have now come to an era that we can have a powerful enough device to run a game that used to be a benchmark for hardware capabilities and now it's running on a chipset basically designed for mobile phones, now if they can port that to android systems that would be amazing. and i'm sure they can and that is amazing for me. since those graphics card can literally fit in your hand and now it's running crysis, my old pc can't even run crysis on low without sounding like a 737 engine. and now it's on a handheld so... it's just cool.

They actually fixed 100+ bugs and they also released a next gen patch, a few more patch and it will be perfect

@@albertwesker9592 Really wished it was a real next gen patch though, and not Backwards compatibility titles, so they could use the full CPU and GPU in the new consoles. In this state they only get half the CPU cores and the GPUis emulating an old architecture, loosing a lot of performance.
