don't make it a simple cashgrab please, make it maximum graphics "can it run crysis 4?" make the fov camera shake like the film in Hardcore Henry, make the effects of the armor modify your view, make the music by Inon Zur or Hans Zimmer, make it a real game unique to its category, DON'T think about the MONEY, THINK about the REALITY

This made me tear up. I adored all of the previous installments despite mixed reviews, and I've been worried about the state of CryTek for a while. I used to look for news on this game on a weekly basis, and then my hope just faded away. I am so happy to see that you all have still kept with it! I cannot wait to experience this

I hated that game so much, it had one of the worst writing in any video game. You rush headfirst into every situation and you are constantly making things worse. The dune buggy was terrible to drive, and that scene where you are being shot down in an aircraft by 300 missiles if laughable.

@TheMustardisbad I don't remember that in the 3rd game. The story was quite nice if I remember correctly. Prophet gets rescued by psycho whose whole team was slaughtered with thier alien tech suits stripped off thier bodies his included. Everyone except prophet believes the aliens are gone while the real threat was supposedly the human organization that captured prophet in the first place and he ends up almost dying while taking down both threats but at the cost of his suit being burned off of him from him falling from space. Cut scene rolls on with him in a house, appearing mostly human before straight-up cloaking while walking away.

New fan here. Blasted through Crysis 1 and 2 a few days ago and really enjoyed them. Loving Crysis 3 so far. Now I'm hearing a 4th is in development? Hella excited, I hope it's amazing!

I never played any other FPS tbh, they are all boring Crysis 1,2,3 Legit been years since I last played an FPS for pure fun(I just tried csgo if anythin)

just finished crysis 3 now waiting on 4 .. this crysis game is one of the best games i played .please keep up the good work

I remember my younger brother going to the market with my father and returning with a PS3 disk of Crysis 3. Although I was very happy with a new game in my hands to play, I had never heard about this franchise before because we weren't into gaming very much as kids, limited internet access and the overall gaming landscape being extremely limited in India back in 2013. I remember getting scared by the Ceph during the entire first few playthroughs of the campaign; I remember being awestruck by the main menu track 'New York Memories', admiring the rain effects in the menu background and listening to the entire track for atleast once before resuming my campaign every time I booted up the game; I remember playing Crysis 3 for years even after getting a few new games like COD: Advanced Warfare; I remember feeling like a complete badass after hunting down Ceph and CELL like a predator (thanks to the Predator Bow lol), and I remember achieving 100% trophies on this game twice. I have played Crysis 3 so many times that I have honestly lost the count now and I would have even started a new campaign every now-and-then almost a decade later if my PS3 hadn't died. Since I had limited number of games, I spent a hefty amount of time with every game I had which enabled me to observe and appreciate every aspect of the game and the overall feel of it, and it is the dedicated labour and love of the developers like those at Crytek that pour so much into games and make it not only a good experience, but a special one. We have come a very long way from 2013 in terms of costs and scope of game development and we have seen so many legendary studios and franchises falter and fail that we could not be bothered any more with another release of a poorly developed AAA title...but if you ask me which AAA studios have proven themselves through these turbid times of gaming landscape by their quality releases - I'll say they're Crytek and Respawn. After being jaded by the performance of every big player in this industry, I still trust these two.

Let's hope Crysis 4 will deliver the same feeling as we played the previous Trilogy 🙏

The World Has Change from the Past to Future i don't think we going to see low fps in Crysis 4 in modern Hardware

Hopefully it will be a true follow-up to the first one open ended sandbox structure. They have the power to do it on next-gen, not only in graphics but the physics simulation and interaction. Whatever it's a jungle environment or a urban one, or a combination of the two. Crysis 3 was a step in the right direction but it was tied down to the consoles of the generation. Can't wait to spent the next decade asking any PC gamer with a new rig "But can it run Crysis 4?"

@@govindkrishnalb The PS5 and Xbox Series X are running roughly the equivalent of a Ryzen 3800x CPU and a Radeon 6700 XT GPU, which is a lot more than most PC gamers have in their systems right now. Making a game that can only run at playable framerates on hardware above that level would be insane of Crytek.

The crysis 1 theme at the very end gave me chill. Please be Nomad. Please be jungle. Please don't be a mute character. Please be Crysis 1 with better MP and good story, that's all we want.

0:09 looks like the Suit skinning sequence, that lazer beam hitting the suit. 0:13 looks like the VTOL, maybe a nod to the end of Crysis 1, showing the VTOL flying to the Ice sphere. 0:14 Nomad's grave. (Presumed dead, hard to find canon evidence since the comics are not considered canon) 0:14 Another VTOL snippet, I think of it inside the sphere. 0:18 Nomad's resurrection. (Tinfoil hat, considering one of the datapad's in C3 state Nomad to be alive, I conclude this game will show how Nomad is still alive and yet did not feature in 2 or 3.) I hope it's continuing Nomad's story. I also hope that it's Next-Gen only in lieu of the mistakes other AAA studios have made recently.

would be interesting to play nomad again but I wouldn't count on it. but maybe he did the same thing prophet did and became the suit. since the game is still in early dev I hope it means they won't support the old consoles. it will probably not come out for several years by then current-gen will be the norm and PC will be who knows how much further ahead.

What personally I want (can't say for the others) is: - plot and feeling of alive open world from Crysis 1 - soundtrack and controls/shooting from Crysis 2 - graphics from Crysis 3 combined with quality of high fidelity post effects of Crysis 1 (no ghosting, perfect motion blur, best physics) and your best technologies such as best stereo-3D i've ever seen and ray tracing reflections - DRM (because I wish you to succeed in sales, and I don't care for pirates opinion) - get rid of "can it run Crysis" idea, or make it optional. Game should be playable at 4K@60fps on rtx4070m@12gb with minor upscaling (such as DLSS 3 quality preset, not performance) - and please return Hans Zimmer for Crysis 4 main theme! I still got chills from Crysis 2 theme, best sound ever! - and maybe, just maybe, stereo-3D for VR headsets with wide angle and console controllers (I have Quest 3 and it is my dream to play Crysis on it) PS: please spend a ton of money on marketing. I believe Crysis must be not only on hype, but have dozens of millions sales.

Take your time and do your best, this series are masterpiece!!

In the past I did development work for the CryEngine 2, but for a different company than Crytek. There's two parts to game development. The graphics engine, which is software development, and "content", which is media, like making a movie. All those CGI effects you see in movies needs 3D models, textures, planning camera moves etc. to get the result you want. Games require similar items. The general field is called "computer graphics". Like a movie, modern games also require music, voice actors, sound effects, etc. to make it realistic. There's plenty of books and online tutorials if you want to learn about this stuff. Some of the graphics engines are free for individual use, as long as you don't make money off them.

@@highstreetanimations2006 Any multiplayer game is better with friend(s), but for Hunt: Showdown it is very much more applicable because it is a tactical game where a lot of feedbacks are given to you by the game (in the form of sounds) and having a teammate to communicate, strategise and co-ordinate attacks will be very rewarding and mostly successful. Playing alone in a tactical game like this is its own experience, but it will require you some patience to learn and become better than the masses, so you would derive more fun per round. This game and its feedback mechanisms are a fresh concept in gaming. I'd say you should support, in whatever capacity you can, the bold ideas which risk everything and go out of the norm to provide new experiences to players rather than churning out decade-old ambition-less experience again and again. Hunt: Showdown is worth another shot if you think you can give it one. 👍

I wouldn't call the original an open world game. More like individual sandboxes. If they went open world I'd be much less interested in this game

the mechanics , gameplay, movements was great in original Crysis 1 and Warhead , i hope to see these nanosuit controls again , i am so excited for the new game 🎉

Bring back the old controls, speed mode, speed crawl, launching out of the water, creeping through bushes while leaves move around you, hold more weapons, tools and attachments at a time, more destructable environments with a deep physics system you can use to your advantage. THAT was Crysis. We miss that vibe

Being such a fan of crysis 3 it was kinda suprising that i didint even know anything about crysis 4 ( i honestly stopped following whats been going on with crysis for 3 years now since i NEVER thought this day would come). Crytek please take your time and make this as good if not better than the rest in the series i dont care if this releases in half a decacde or when gta iv comes out (60 years). I wish the whole team the best.

Finally. Can't wait to see more! Keep up the good work. Remain that typical climate of recent releases.

I love how they put a subtle hint at the Crysis 1 music in the end. Best OST in the franchise, always puts me back on that hilltop watching the early sunrise in "Contact"

If I may take a wild guess, this is *Nomad* Backtrack to the events of the Crysis comics (canon), he was killed and blown before Crysis 2 by a rocket that was intended for Psycho and Prophet. My guess is that this trailer is his body reconstructing itself through the nanosuit, and finally coming back to life and around post Crysis 3.
