I loved this single. Great blackened death/thrash. Sooo hyped for the album release in June 11! Also, I believe that the choice for "From The Ashes" and the lyrical theme is about starting again after leaving their bands, as Fernanda and Luana were from Nervosa and Sonia left Burning Witches to join Crypta. Tainá is a newcomer in the big scene, but she already kicks ass!

Ive been listening to death metal, especially the Swedish melodic death metal that this band is clearly in the tradition of for close to 30 years now. Crypta has this sound nailed down and are doing it better than just about anyone else today...including most of the bands who built the genre. This album has the same kind of primal energy and aggression that say, Dismember's "Indecent and Obscene" did back in the day...and that came out in 1993.

Loved fernanda in Nervosa and her vocals are epic, if you catch some of her messing around vids shes sings normal, no growls etc. Her vocals sometimes remind me of chuck schuldiner. Great vid \m/

got to see them live in 03/07/2022 and it was the best concert I ever seen. They dedicated From the Ashes to Patricia Perissinotto Kisser, Andreas Kisser wife, who died the same day. Well, I gotta say I got shivers all over my body at every syllable Fernanda Lira sang, very emotional and I'll never forget that night, they made my year a lot better and I cry everytime I listen to this song. Well, Crypta is powerful, surely one of the most legendary bands nowadays! sorry for my english guys, brazillian folk here.

Really like this new band, the new Nervosa is pretty good too. I'm glad having 2 bands now ^^ Suggestion : Misery Index - Hammering The Nails

Sonia Anubis from Burning Witches and Cobra Spell is on guitar here. Cobra Spell is old oldskool hair metal revival, Burning Witches are a way cool band - Hexenhammer, Burning Witches, Lucid Nightmare, and Sea of Lies are all awesome songs

I love the raspy highs and lows.. in a way, this whole production reminds me of Cradle of Filth. In a good way.. and Crypta still feels original, very talented.

For me the production sounds so kick ass awsome mid 1980s it dosent sound cradle of filth to me it sounds more 80s death black thrash metal.🤘💀🤘 and im a big 80s nerd

Crypta are great ! love the Record. from the ashes isnt my favorite track but it has my favorite solo from the record , actually there are a couple songs i like more. still a awesome track

This is one split up I can get behind. I do not like Suffocation's.... while Eric is a good drummer NO ONE is better than Mike Smith. Plus Frank retiring made me sad....and i missed his farewell tour. But at least they have long standing guitarist shredder Terrance Hobbs and bassist Derek Boyer.

The only thing that could make this better would be heading off into the unknown, twisting the style and adding new elements. It's great but also quite traditional. Purists are going to complain no matter what. They can go pound sand 🤘😋🤘
