I agree with you ,but what’s worse they laugh when the baby cries and neither parent attempts to hug and console the child,I’ve never actually seen one parent ever kiss their baby,maybe a culture difference

@@vickieyoung7122 Well, Ms. Young, I believe that these helpless babies would disagree. Maybe most adults would consider ear piercing to be a "simple" piercing and we adults and children 5 yrs. and older have given our consent and we know that discomfort from the piercing is imminent, BUT ......... the babies don't see this coming and their pain threshhold is ZERO. ABUSE comes in varying degrees, F.Y.I.

Also, some parents will say that they show their daughters the video of the past ear piercing from Claire's or wherever when the kids are much older ...... and that their kids are o.k. with the fact that Mom traumatized them as infants/toddlers so that dumb Mom could stare at the earrings. Why does an infant or small child need earrings in the first place?
