well hes kinda right. (if you haven't seen the Native American legend at the end but in lore its really a head of a deer and has a tall skinny hardskinned body it's actually quite terrifying so btw sorry for some spoilers if you haven't seen it so hopefully you have)

There are a couple that are kinda likable, but in most horror movies most of the kids are assholes so that 1: when they do the stupid shit that gets them killed it's in character, and 2: you aren't really that sad to see them go. It's much more entertaining to see a bunch of douches go through hell.

Android 19 Looking at it from that viewpoint does make more sense in the context of this game. I still think that actual good horrors/films/games in general should make you care about the protagonists and make them feel real,instead of lazy stereotypes,but guess thats a topic for another time.

All these comments saying the characters are cliche or unrealistic... you've seriously never met anyone like any of these people? Because I've known a ton of Mike's, Josh's, Emily's, and especially Jess'. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean that their personalities aren't everywhere. Chris, Sam, Ashley, and Matt seem like the more quiet introverted types, however not as many games or movies account for these personalities, so they seem not so "cliche". The characters are just fine, and plenty realistic. (The fact that they're barely wearing anything in the middle of winter at a high altitude is not so realistic... I mean Jess has her lower back bare to the cold sometimes...) Also, saying you want all the characters to die because you don't like their personalities is pretty alarming... considering those kinds of personalities are everywhere and we aren't even halfway into the game and their characters aren't even fully developed yet. Just wow... hateful much? I can almost guarantee that when we see these characters actually die, 90% of those who wanted them dead will feel some sympathy. Being a person who always feels massive amounts of empathy for movie, story, and/or game characters, it's ridiculous how apathetic people can be. Yes it's a game. A game with very realistic graphics, characters, and very disturbing death possibilities for those characters. If you want them all to die, I sincerely hope that it's just because you don't immerse yourself into the story at all, or are unable to do so, or are just trying to seem funny.

I want a character to die in this game for the simple fact that this is a game. Of course that means if this was something I was faced with in real life, I would try to help whoever was in danger. Big difference in games and real life. Might want to take that into account.

Frankly, I'm not sure what the disagreement here is, given that we both know about the location of the game and the origins of the mythology. We both agree that the indigenous people in this game are the Cree, a part of the Algonquin people. All of this stems from a grand miscommunication (you thought I was correcting you, but I was just adding to your information). As a reminder to Cry's recording habits, this man is recording this shit during the dead of night when it's most quiet. While we're getting scared shitless and complaining about it, we tend to forget that Cry's doing this on a whole different level. But what I want to say is, *WE HAVE TO WAIT TWO DAYS FOR THE NEXT PART UGH* (Saturday stream followed by Cry's chill day) DAMN YOU POOR TIMING

I like how the characters don't move stiffly, which differs from some other realistic-looking games. It's nice. Also, I don't like Mike. Or Jess or Emily. They can all die in a horrible fiery accident. I do like Sam, though. Her and Matt and Chris are all cool. All fine with me. Kinda on the fence about Josh, though. I'm not too sure whether I like him or not.

DovaSqueakiins The thought of it kinda makes me wish for an adventure game that's kind of like Scooby-Doo only darker. A bunch of young adults who know all the horror movie cliches while simultaneously being a bit like some of the horror movie cliche characters, travelling around America in a custom-rigged Winnebago, solving all manner of dark creepy cases that the cops couldn't solve. A bit like this game, only with firmer roots in traditional point-and-clicks and a light dusting of comedic hijinks a'la classic Scooby-Doo.

I started watching marks but it took a bit to much time following all these playthroughs. Jacks and Felixs are the ones I'll stick to 100%, I'll watch crys if I have time. I am also not sure how many times I can watch these goddamn jump scares, my poor heart can't take it xD

geez, these characters are just so. . . the only decently likable ones are Sam, Matt, Ashley, and maybe -maybe- Chris. That being said, this is turning out nicely and those jump scares get me pretty good.

I like Jess. Sure she was rude to Emily, but hey I would be too. Being rude to Matt was uncalled for, but besides that, she seems like a fun person.

The best part of the video is the witty placing of Ghost at the end. "Je-Jess? Where'd you go?...." "ITS TIME I MIGHT JUST DISAPPEARRRR"

12:37 I don't know why, but the way he moves before saying "On it" cracks me up

Someone seriously needs to make a dub step remix of when Jess says "Let's hug a bear!".

I love how Josh was described as complex, loving and thoughtful, and before the 10 minute mark he's already talking about how much he wants to get inside these girls' pants.

Is it me or is it really dark? I just saw some gameplay of the beginning scene from someone else and it wasn't this dark. I get its supposed to be dark, but damn it's hard to see. Anyone else feel that way or is it just me?

One thing I do like about the characters in this game is that the developers captured something real about the teens. They captured that most teens, jock, prep or whatever....most of them are freaking dorks. Almost all of the teens are dorks and I like that.

Cry deserves more subscribers than 2,000,000. All because of that voice and contagious laugh.

So far, this is more like "Cry trying to solve teeange-love-problems" than "Cry playing a horror game" :DD

Ok so I usually check the comments before every video since I'm late to this one (not used to checking cry's sub box at 18:00 every day anymore) and it seems to be scary af. Fuck it I'm gonna go full screen mode, get a snack, some water and probably choke on it. This will be a good day.

I think its fairly clear now that this Murderer is really just a well meaning, if a tad agressive, relationship consulor. Sometimes good people wind up with really bitchy paramores, and who are we to penalize someone who decides the best way to break up a posionous relationship is with jump scares and a stolen fire axe? At least he gets results.

Game:Satanic screaming Cry: it was probably just a deer. Me: Cry where is it that you live where deer sound like that.

I really don't appreciate this game's awful jumpscares that play every two seconds, pretending to know horror games. What I do appreciate is the Resident Evil: Outbreak feeling it gives when it lets you control several characters at once.

Although someone already answered, that's because it is him! This game likely uses mo-cap and the characters were modeled after their voice actors. Rami Malek is also in the series Mr. Robot, which I highly recommend.

I really fucking hope you save Matt, Cry. Its a pretty Complicated path to achieve it.

I love winter but I don't live in a place where it snows at all so seeing all of the winter clothes and setting makes me happy.

the amount of sorrow and regret cry's voice had when he was forced to go and jump in with jess was the best thing ever, i could tell he just really didn't want anything to do with her

Is it bad that I refuse to watch any other gaming KZreadr play these games? Cry is just so good at these kinds of games.

I haven't checked Cry's videos in a while and I seemed to have forgot how soothing and calming his voice is to the ear. Other than that, commentary on point. You do you, stay awesome 😸
