"Use your boyish charms..." /splash "...or that." LOL, it gets me every time. ♥

Played this with my little sister. She's 7 and I'm 20, so I figured it was appropriate to do this together. At first we tried both holding the controller with me as the older brother and her as the younger one. LOL But she ended up just wanting me to do it all, and she just watched, but interacted with it with me. But it was beautiful explaining to her the sad things that happen and the happy things, too, and getting her perspective on it all. I recommend playing this as siblings, together. It makes it feel like a bonding experience! Sadly, I did watch this playthrough first, but it inspired me to play it not just by myself, but with my precious little sister. I loved it. :) We laughed and cried and had a grand time! Thanks, Cry, for showing this to me so I could play it with her.

I played this game sitting on my friends laugh and he was blue and I was orange and we actually made it through the whole game with each holding one side of the controller

"No 'Da'. Da is currently on his death bed." I laughed then I cried.

The two boys were calling the dying man "abbah" which is father in Hebrew :) I couldn't hear the mom very well because of the rain, but I'm fairly certain I heard the boy say "eemah" which means mother in Hebrew as well.

Really? Whoa. I know "Abah" also means father in Sunda and Padang (tribes) in Indonesia, and they're not Malay. But yea, Indonesia and Malaysia are neighbor. Pretty close with "Abi" in Arab.

Cry, out of all LP's, I mostly like yours, you often take games with a sad-ish story line, but your commentary makes it so it still is relaxing to watch, without ruining the atmosphere of the game.

Really wish people would stop asking what crys appearance is. Of course we're all curious but it's so annoying to keep asking. It's his personal choice and you guys need to respect that he will not get on camera. His gameplays are more of a focus then on what someone looks like. People should come for that.

I have to say: I played this like a year after I watched it and cried like 30 times, forgetting about his play through. My dad had gotten it to play and when I saw it on our XBOX360©, I asked him if I could play. He said, and I quote: Yeah, of course! I saw this guy named... Umm. A youtuber named ummm... C-C-Cry something and it was one of the best playthroughs I have ever seen. I watch him for all my play through now. And I said: CRYAOTIC? WAS THAT HIS NAME?!?!? DAD HES LIKE MY MOST FAVORITE KZreadR OF ALL TIME!!!!!!

A friend of mine gifted this to me last night. Yesterday I found out that my younger brother has cancer and it's well advanced. Dunno how much time time he has left. Anyway, watching this reminded me of our childhood. He is younger than myself and is blonde and I have dark hair. Yesterday was a bad day for myself, my brother and our family. So what's the point of this message? I dunno. I just felt like talking and I can relate to this game I guess when two days ago I never knew it existed. I think why the fungus giant was crying is because his wife or girlfriend has gone missing. Because there are 2 beds at his house and both with a little love shop in the middle :)

I really wish I could play it, but college and a poor computer keeps me from doing so. Instead, I'll watch you play through this awesome journey. I still want the experience, and your commentary makes the experience an incredible one. Arigatou, Cry san. ^_^

I played the demo of this game and I love it! I just need to buy the full version of it, but I'm so happy your playing this game Cry! This beautiful and well thought out game in my opinion and also how you control the brothers with both analog sticks. Omg I can feel my right side of my brain is building, make you realize that you never use that side before. :D

If you haven't played this yet, don't watch this unless you don't plan on ever playing it: this is a game best experienced by you, the player. Watching the whole thing on youtube will never give you the same feels as it would if you were actually in control of it yourself. That said, I AM looking forward to this.

I like cry playing these peaceful story games like shadow of the colossus and Journey and this game.because he is that kind of guy.

This was the very first gameplay I ever saw of Cry's. It's been a whole year already. Seems fitting that I should watch this again. Can be a new tradition :D

Oh the memories me watching this when I was 14. Damn, almost 8 years ago. My childhood memories.

Looks like a predictable game, but an enjoyable and predictable game. I'll keep on watching... But, I have to admit, the ending scene that Cry put in his video... Just the fact that it's the used footage of the little brother unable to save his mother from drowning and having the song in the background say "It's my fault..." is just... Ouch.

I like the concept of not too much dialogue. It's refreshing and I can't wait to see more of this Cry Plays!

I like how much you like playing very story based games with major feels in them! It's what I like most about you and your playthroughs Cry :D Looking forward to moree

Man, the feeeeeeeeeeels in this game! For something without dialog, the stuff you go through playing this game, kinda kicks you in the sensitives.

Echo Doyle this is only my theory, but the song says 'its my fault' and the clip of the kid failing to save his mother, so it strongly implies the kid blaming himself for his mums death

I remember this was the first cryaotic video I ever watched, so I have now decided to rewatch the brothers series. I remember watching it the first time and laughing so hard over bits, smiling and even crying at that bit near the end... Your awesome cry :)

This has to be my favorite game. I loved playing every second of it. I wish there are more games like this out there. I was suprised to see you play this, I saw the title and instantly clicked it. Best game ever

When I first saw Cry was playing this, I watched the first ten minutes and decided to buy the game myself and play it through before I continued. It was well worth ( & beyond, I dare say ) what I paid for it. It's gorgeous. The music is atmospheric and, once you're used to the controls the immersion is great! You begin to adventure more, poke your noses into nooks and crannies you would usually swan past with your nose in the air in normal faster paced games - do as cry did and notice how both brothers interact differently with certain people... if you have the means to play this I more than recommend it. ... also puzzles. Puzzles are good.

I played this game on day one of release, and it is EASILY my second choice for Game of the Year, after The Last of Us. It truly is an experience you cannot miss.

I simply just wanna unlike your videos to only like them again. This was a really well-done playthrough, Cry. Applause to you! Interesting, witty, nostalgic - you nailed this one. I'm one of those who's not able to play this, so I'm really happy I could sit down with some pizza, popcorn, a lot to drink, and hook my laptop to the tv. Just a perfect way for me to spend a saturday night. It was just like watching a great movie, which is something I like with games. You are a part of making it happen - and it's lasting for so much longer than just one hour!

The way they speak isn't really Sim-ish. It's loosely based on Arabic, I guess? Cause I can recognise some words. Like when the older brother was calling the younger one at the very beginning it sounded as if he was telling him "Come here!"

The art in this game is really beautiful

I heard you get a real sense of emotion for these 2 brothers and you end up really feeling connected with there brotherly bond defiantly will pick it up to experience this connection through a game the sense of just being a little kid and laughing with your brother and helping 1 an other as you progress is really immersive to find in game that really hits back into your personal life with loved ones defiantly a good change up from the constant AAA games of killing 1 an other..

Why is it always the mum that dies? Is it not sad enough if it's the dad that dies? xD Killed the atmosphere and I'm only 1 minute into the video.
