Id do ITB's, Cams, Valve springs and Retainers and a 4-1 header with a lightweight titanium exhaust and a super light flywheel and make it rev to the moon and sound crazy plus it would pick up power and tons of throttle response which would make the car way more fun around the compound plus it would sound crazy in video's and make better content.

Not everything needs to be a collab with mediocre builders.

Hondas are known for subframes ripping with big sway bars. The center brace helps prevent that

@@onionrudnik6576 dont need power to rip the rear subframe of a FWD Car. The sway bar essentially transfers the force of the car when you’re turning across the whole rear of the car, since more of this force is brought into the subframe the subframe is more likely to crack. A stock power car with a big swaybar and some grippy tyres is enough to crack the subframe

To be honest I took a break from your channel and seeing that you bought a FWD vehicle and let alone a Honda, it brought me back to your channel. I'm super stoked to see where this build goes.

Same I love old school cars. You didn't need a bunch of power and money to have fun. 80s and 90s cars are still the best fun. Also seeing LZ take a step back from the insane builds he normally does in a CRX is gold! He's got the same if not a bigger smile on his face.

This is the best build on the channel for a while. I'd love to see a track day video with this and the Evo soon.

That CRX looks like a blast to beat on. Those yellow wheels on the S15 just make me think of a john deere tractor every time I see it.

love having a crx build series to keep up with, probably my favorite car right now. Dont know too much about car moding but my uncle made a build with some crxs back when they came out. Your videos are a fun way to see what can be done with the new gear we have in the industry.

Loving the crx content! Good call on the ASR subframe brace and the 24mm sway bar! Its one of the best things i did to my car!

The CRX content is great, make it mechanically sound and then paint it. I’ll love to see a very gripped up setup.

Good to see even a pro drifter pulls the exact same face as every fwd Honda owner ever during their first proper wet weather lift off oversteer moment lol love the vids dude keep em coming

Its awesome the CRX is getting some love on this channel. It’s a fun car and if done right can look amazing. We need more!

On the cars we race we usually have 20psi+ more in the rear than what we run in the front, can run a softer sway bar setting that way as well.

Would love to see the CRX become a clean compound ripper🔥👍 (maybe throwback to the cream s13 and do a super clean cream colored car…nothing crazy just sleek in appearance with some very tasteful mods….just an idea🤷‍♀️)

I was thinking cream like the s13 too!

As an ex Honda boi, getting rotation is all about transferring weight to the from during turn in. Get a brake proportioning valve and set it all the way to the front, then tap the brakes hard before turn in and lift off the throttle aggressively. Once you feel the rear step out, you can feather the clutch back into WOT to carry your momentum and come out of the corner hella sideways and nearly full lock. Thing of the rear end like a ball and chain that you’re swinging behind you. Also look up FF Dori, the famous JDM drift civic.

Love seeing Adam accomplish a new goal. He’s never changed and I’ve been watching since the e46 days.

I oddly enjoy this civic content because it reminds me of when I was younger playing around with cheaper cars but not having the money to build them good, I like all your other builds but price wise are probably unattainable for most.

The videos of you setting laps at the firm are some of my favorites, great vid as always

Would be a blast to see the process of getting the bodywork done with the idea behind it and what has to be done to the car before a good paintjob

Once you fix a honda nothing can compare to it, such easy car to work on and how quick it goes compared to work and price

You got good parts nice PCi ACR BC racing your doing it right this build is gonna be cool I would upgrade the axles because you will snap them things trying to launch it

Why do I enjoy the CRX content the most. Just looks like so much fun and it sounds incredible too.

Love the crx! Also would really love an update on the old fd s15, it's my favorite car and I really miss seeing it slide

The brace is to reinforce the subframe from ripping the bolts out from the subframe. A Type R sway bar is the best upgrade for the crx.

Loving the CRX content and the fact that you're enjoying it. Fun lil rippers for sure

24+mm rear sway bars combined with REALLY stiff coilovers can tear the rear lower control arm mounts away from the body, even with a good subframe brace. But that's the idea, to help prevent the chassis from tearing

@@MX304 It rips the metal apart, nothing to do with the welds.

You would love how my R5 drives. It has torsion bars in the rear and a 50mm steel pipe going across tying the left and right sides. Stiff rear not only helps the car rotate but most importantly it pushes the inner front wheel down in corners giving you better front grip. You should play around with brake bias so you can rotate it with brakes when you need it.

When you say rotate do you mean as in like flow with the motion of the car in turns or help it slide the back out. Cause I thought sway bars were to help with grip. Maybe I’m confused lol

I seriously love this crx build ! I have 2 s14s , but I've had way more hondas then nissans, and also have a turboed integra and h22 prelude! Makes me wanna order a rear tie bar and subframe brace for my integra!

I know drifting is probably the biggest part of your life, but i honestly enjoy these types of videos more, where youre working on cars or just vlogging and talking to us. Dont get me wrong the drift content is fun but it gets a little excessive and im sure a lot of people also like the drift vids just asmuch. Definitely would enjoy some more content like this, not trying to hate at all. I support whatever you do but if you see this, I'd really appreciate some more chill vlog style videos! Keep it up though Mr. LZ!

@@Hyngyynj ya know I thought about this a little more and I think its because it isn't a 400hp+ halo car. something I can relate to a little more.

It's funny how when you get used to a certain way of drifting it's so hard doing the opposite being fwd or rear. I find it incredibly easy fwd drifting because that's with what I learned drifting but now that I got a rwd I find it so unpredictable and I've not been able to master it yet because I can't risk it on public roads until I know I can control it. Love the videos, keep it up!

I would love to see a balls out build similar to this, but on a different crx. Like built block, Forced induction, track tuned suspension, etc...but keep this crx as simple as possible. Then put them up against each other, kinda like hi/low on donut. That would be sick

You may have to do the old lift of oversteer trick that's how most of these got written off lol great cars and pretty crazy for the year they came out.

My neighbor when I was a kid had a CRX, Grey with carbon fiber hood. Blue interior, Recaro bucket seats with Red seat belts. And it was fast ASF. I personally would never own a Honda period but as a kid it looked awesome.

I have daily driven a Ski Nautique and spent considerably more hours driving it in a year than I have spent driving a car on the road

dude I love these type of videos seeing this CRX being built is my favorite, a CRX Is my dream car.

Always loved the CRX and wanted one for ages. Basically it looks like you are instigating lift off oversteer which is fun.

Although nobody else would probably want to see it, I think it would be cool to make you’re own juiced and fast & furious era door art/parts list combo livery down the line after you repaint it and install more parts. Could really bring that old school tuner vibe to a new purpose built project, and something like a CRX would be perfect for that too.

I had that same problem with my RB25 with that whining. I replaced the clutch, throw out bearing, and input shaft bearing and it fixed it. Probably was the input shaft bearing

Love the nostalgia the CRX content gives me. My first car was a 94 integra. This reminds me when my friends and I put plastic trays under our rear tires and cut doughnuts in an empty parking lot with E brake engaged.

you need to dial out the negative camber in the rear to zero and change the rear upper arm with an adjustable spherical arm right now it prob has too much rear camber if you haven't changed the arms. put the front camber to -2 or -2.5. Also try loosening or removing the front endlinks on the sway bar. this car has an adjustable front bar, less front bar more rotation. if the rear shock is adjustable stiffen that more than front as well.

I love this CRX. Just don't overcomplicate it and you're golden

It's easy to make the CRX and older Civic have plenty of lift-off oversteer. Just artificially limit rear droop with some kind of strap. We used 3/16" galvanized wire rope and those crimp-on sleeves to make loops that went around the uppermost spring coil and the bottom-most spring coil. Two limiting loops per side. Try longer or shorter loop lengths to adjust how easy the oversteer kicks in.

The CR-X has become iconic. Had one 20years ago and this has made me want to get one again. They just cost so much now. Do it up and thrash it like a Honda should be thrashed. Built for fun👍
