Luis Oliva That's great I'm just saying if everything he producers / is involved with just sounds like QOTSA, what's the point of even having the different bands? Bowie produced Iggy Pop on my favorite IP album, but managed to still leave him sounding like Iggy Pop. I just kinda feel like Josh Homme just leaves a little too much of himself in what I've heard of his productions, which is this, Spinnerrette, and the Arctic Monkeys album he produced.

Luis Oliva That's great I'm just saying if everything he producers / is involved with just sounds like QOTSA, what's the point of even having the different bands? Bowie produced Iggy Pop on my favorite IP album, but managed to still leave him sounding like Iggy Pop. I just kinda feel like Josh Homme just leaves a little too much of himself in what I've heard of his productions, which is this, Spinnerrette, and the Arctic Monkeys album he produced.

Can't wait for next Friday, as much as I want Nick to focus on and be with The Strokes as much as possible but I really hope the album makes them 'That band CRX' instead of 'That band Nick Valensi from The Strokes is in'! Hopefully the other guys get the recognition they deserve as much as I love Nick
