Yep! This is some lost footage from 2018 too! I’ve done several more since then. The pistons seemed to be cheaply made is my observation…. Thanks!

Have you replaced a 2.7l engine? Do you have to remove the cab to or tear the front end apart? Thanks

2021 Gmc sierra 1500 2.7l. Has metal in it. The clyinder 2 rocker arm bearings came out and went thru out the motor.

@Zlambert99 I have not had to do much on those engines yet… Access is very tight though so I would be very tempted to remove the cab. A lot of stuff has to come apart to remove it out the front.

Ok. Yeah when I replace the 5.3l and 6.2 on the 2019 and newer engines I take the front end apart.
