I myself have Cruze LS 2011 1.6l and I was going to modify mine aswell by adding a cold air intake, straight pipe, halo headlights and similar taillights as you got. My cruze is also silver color :D

Not gonna lie. Although this car is gutless as crap (my mom drives on and I had to drive it when my car broke down), not a bad sound at all considering other cars with bigger engines (looking at you BRZ/FRS) sound horrible when you straight pipe it. So well done sir. No rasp, just a clean note. Forgive every one else on this page who believes that every straight pipe car needs to be fast because they don't. I got a v6 Altima Coupe with a full 3" straight pipe (after headers) but I still can respect a clean car when I see one regardless of what brand or model it is. In a world where every car looks and drives the same (the arms race for fuel efficiency) I can respect ANYONE who decides to be different and embrace the individualism that comes with owning a car. One word of wisdom (past experiences). If possible, always wrap instead of painting (or at least plasti-dip it with a plasti clear coat) It helps resale value when you want to upgrade since you can easily return it to default. I painted my mirrors black and tinted the turn signals, and I realized later on it looked better with just the tint. I noticed you had a piece of your grill blacked out which is nice, but it looks like you had sanded and painted it. Correct me if I'm wrong. Nice car. Never personally seen a decked out cruze on the road before.

Thanks man, I appreciate the love and I agree the car is slow as heck stock. Once I did some work on it and now running 22 lb. of boost it finally has a little pep in it step while still getting 33 to 36 mpg.

Below Reality I would like to add. To anyone that is getting a p0420 code ( low efficiency cat) go to your local parts store and get defoulers. There around $10 and it will fix your problem next step catless downpipes. Thank you again man.

Have you heard about the rubberband camera pan trick? Itll help keep the camera from jumping so much while you pan around.

My 2013 cruze lt 1.4 keeps over heating very bad, just changed the thermostat and still over heats and there is no heat in the car, any suggestions in what it is?

I had the same issue and it turned out to be a bad PCV hose connected to the very top of the valve cover. It was a super cheap and easy part to replace. I’m not sure if you’re having the same issue but, it’s a start.

What spacers and wheels ? Trying to achieve that look on my Cruze

This cruze is the 4cyl... thats the diesel motor. They had 2 engines for the cruze. You can hear the way it sounds

They have 3 different engines, they have a gas N/A a gas turbo, and a diesel turbo. Mine in the video is a gas turbo.

What size pipes do you uave on this cruze ? I'm planning to change to straight pipe but don't want that aggressive, any ideas ? Great vid keep it up,

At 22 lb of boost what what were you sitting at power wise and what was the approximate cost? I got a 2012 I use as my construction commuter which I really actually kind of like. It's comfortable and a manual but it could use some more balls. Debating on beefing this one up or maybe looking into a focus ST

Around 185hp and 240 tq, it makes the car feel alive for once. Cost wise was around $2,000 but, thats also including my wheels and tires. My recommendation is if you want more power look into the ST or get a WRX like I did.

Also is there a resonator? Or is it just strictly straight pipe from headers to exhaust tip?

Jeffrey Bates Straight pipe from the turbo back, about half way through the exhaust I put one of those cheap $30 eBay catalytic converters as a resonator.

Hey, how is the intercooler holding out?? There’s a debate in the forums on wether or not it’s worth it. I’d love to hear your opinion on it.

I enjoy it pretty good, temps stay down a lot better if you are giving it a hard time. Also if you are running more boost on the stock intercooler it's not as responsive in my opinion and was constantly heat soaking. I just wish they would lower the price then it would be worth it a lot more.

Nah man I didn’t, I replaced the secondary cats with a 18 inch long resonator

You're fine, it's a ZZP catless downpipe with a 3 inch straight pipe all the way back. Instead of putting a resonator on I got a cheap $30 high catylitic converter from eBay to use as a resonator.

@Roy Hicks The converter I bought on eBay, the downpipe you can get on ZZPs website and the 3 inch exhaust I just went to my local muffler shop and had them weld me one up for $250.

The bumper only has a front lip and i painted the middle part and the fender flares on cheap universal flares that I used a heat gun to mold to the car.

This is a dumb question but do you think itd work for a 2011 1.8 liter? Auto, sorry dont know much about cars just bought my first one which is the ole 2011

@@demonic3923 The 1.8 doesn't have a turbo so there is no need for you to get a catless down pipe. If I was you I would get a nice N1 style muffler like a Skunk 2 universal muffler or a Megan universal muffler and just take it to an exhaust shop and have them weld it up. I would do a 2 inch exhaust from the second Cat Converter back with one of those mufflers on the end.

Just wondering did u get a way to delete the o2 sensor codes cuz I'm just trying to figure out how to do that before I take the cats off??

The only way to work around the codes and to have the car run properly without cats is to have a tune.

Not sure about the 1st gen but on the 2nd gens the midpipe cat is unmonitored so you won't have any codes deleting it

Both cats deleted? Would it pop with just the 2nd cat deleted

Yeah both cats and probably not, look up Chevy Cruze burble tune if you want pops.

3 inch piping barely fit, and the difference between 3.5 and 3 on our cars would be minimal if any. I think 3 inch gives a good clean tone and I believe you would be happy with 3 in compared to what you have now man.

Just bought a 2014 cruze 1.4 and already I'm thinking of some mods for it although I should leave it alone that's just not who I am.not looking for speed out of it just to look and sound nice. I had 2.5" on my cobalt ss with a 2540i Aero turbine and it sounded so deep and mean. Sadly its sitting until I can buy a LDK and drop it in as the original motor just sent two con rods through the block last week. Bought the cruze to drive till I can get the cobalt going again. It'll probably just be my daily now and the cobalt will become a weekend fun toy.

No one in my area has full catless setup with 3 in piping so i realy dont know what it sounds like in person since i only have the 2.25. 2.25 is loud but its very all over the place and not contained if you know what i mean and it screams too much on high rpm. Im excited bro im gonna do 3 in soon.

Thanks man, the exhaust is custom made. Most of the ones you can buy for $500 or more aren't that great. The downpipe is a catless ZZP.

@@belowreality7445 Custom is always better! Full exhaust system minus the headers on my car was 800-1.5k depending on the brand and build quality. Custom exhaust done by a mom and pop muffler shop (welder) with stainless steel pipes with $330 + $20 for each o2 sensor (although I didn't need any. Sounds like a million dollars.

@@lava_lampbubble2765 now it is 300hp 😂. I put a hybrid turbo, bigger intercooler and new ecu remap, k&n air intake system, 3inch full straight pipe exhaust. It smokes a little bit, but it doesn't make a problem.
