Im so glad Crusoe’s recovery is going very well for him .. I found Crusoe’s videos while recovering from my back surgery and what a inspiration he was to me ..after I found out he had back surgery too… Now I’ve injured my back again with my leg not working so great either.. So they did another surgery on December 1.. and I’m in the long phase of recovery.. best part of this recovery is .. I’ve started rewatching all the Crusoe videos again to spark that inspiration up a notch or two.. if Crusoe can get back to a new normal .. so can I .. Happy New Year to you and your family Crusoe .. 🐾💕🐾

Crusoe and Family : As I look at this recap, my year was quite similar in many ways ; I actually ended 2021(days before Christmas) having major surgery, which resulted in the loss of a foot. 2022 began with me in a hospital, followed by a rehab facility and then home, where after initially being bed ridden and wheelchair bound, led to getting a prosthetic foot and learning how to care for myself, get stronger and - eventually - walk again. Like Crusoe, I'm a little bit older (I'll be 60 in 2023) and it's a process and while I'll never be the same, I continue to improve and will do my best to live my life on my terms. I'm mobile now and have even returned to work. It was with a big smile that I hung up my Crusoe 2023 calendar this morning, knowing both of us had quite the journey this year. Keep on entertaining us and all the BEST to the whole family for 2023 !!! Dan.😁

Watching Crusoe's recovery has been amazing. I went through a similar episode with one of my doxies when he was only four, but just like human medicine, veterinary medicine has come a long way. My little guy made it all the way to 15, which is pretty darn old in doxie years. Here's wishing Crusoe, and Daphne, and Oakley a happy and healthy 2023, as a Happy New Year to their doggy moms and dads.

Wow! 13!! We all get older and have some limitations we didn’t have before.
