I caught a 22 or23 inch bass in my boathouse this year on a ice fishing rod whilst fishing for rock bass on lake of the woods

I love a good smallie fight. One of my favorite game fish for sure.

I would pay a lot of money for some of them northern Manitoba drive to lakes… 5 years of 10 day fishing trips up there and not even a dent on the auto chart.

You guys wanna know the secret? Drive 3 hours away.. from any and every major city. And the bodies of water will be abundant with fish. Then all the lures work pretty good.

New subscriber here! In Manitoba now and enjoying this provinces tiger trout and monster brook trout!

We just had some of your catch and cook on catfish and walleye tonight for supper! Holy crap that stuff is delicious! Wish it was in stores in more places in the US(especially Nebraska lol) but we’ll definitely order more! Love your videos(which is obviously why we bought the C&C)! Keep up the good work!

I have to say Mr. Siemens , you are a true gentleman fisherman. You are a delight to watch and listen to. I wish some of the other KZread guys making fishing videos had at least have the class you have. Keep those videos coming (and maybe a few more about the lodge)

I watched a video that indicated that fish are more inclined to strike at a craw with only one claw, less defenses.

Starting to becoming obsessed with non-traditional baits for certain species. Scrounger jig heads for walleye I think will be on the come up soon

I’ve been looking forward to something as well, but Jay just had a baby while helping with the building of a cabin that they travel to by boat. He’s got a lot on his plate right now

Really enjoy the smallmouth content. I always find you give great smallies tips and wish you did more catching smallies on shield lakes. Love all your content and the effort you put in. Keep it up! Now if I can convince you to do a fall smallmouth tutorial on shield lakes I'd be forever grateful
