Great video, Luuk! I prefer these replay videos over live commentary as you are able to hit pause, elaborate on your thoughts around the hand etc. Also noticed more pre flop fold thoughts in this format which is of great help to reflect my own thoughts. Again - big thanks for all your helpful content!

great content mate! This is exactly the type of video that I gobble up. I think the extended '20 min for one hand with solver review' is best left to the Mastermind. Keep it up! Botter makes u better!

Greetings! Thanks for the nice video :) Minute 17 - A985 seems to be quite an ambitious open :) Also solver does not agree that we have an easy delay with the low suit, as it would get very awkward if we get raised.. I guess we can justify it if we believe we are getting raised light much less often than in GTO and plan on folding vs a raise? On the river 3/4 does not make sense as a sizing to me it seems a little too big for our thin value, but I guess it could be ok if we are not using two sizings(I would split between pot and 1/2 usually)

2:06 A865ss: Tempting spot to raise. Question is do we have stronger hands to semibluff with? I would assume we would raise flop for most part if we had AT98/A985+nbdfd. So having oesd, nfd and straight blocker seems potentially one of best combos. We can also continue versus 3bet I believe though of course gets really high variance being deep stacked. At the same time though spot being deep stacked most players will believe us having it. 3:49 KQ72ss: Interesting play. I could see more point if our two pair was more vulnerable. By that I mean if flop was like A84 and we had 84. Now I feel like our hand doesnt benefit as much from protection. Would you have called river if it was e.g. 8c? I just feel like this sort of villain tends to be quite eager to stab river when we show weakness on such blank turn card.

    1. Good points. I believe this is one of the best ones to do it with in hindsight, having a lot of equity, a straight blocker and a pair blocker. I can see a raise with 8855:hh for example as a good one. The sizing of my opponent and the fact the other one just calls makes me want to raise and go harder on that read. But yes, definitely higher variance, but I will raise 54+backup here so I need some bluffs. 2. I learned recently that we have some raises with weak 2p exactly in a spot like this, however it turns out I rather pick the ones without a BDFD, that play worse as a call, and this one is still fine enough to just call. River 8c is close I think, probably a call with the missed high SD. Appreciate the comments!

I like how utilize the PLO Trainer during these hand reviews. Is there a way to pause the playback of the session video while reviewing the solver solution in PLO Trainer? If so, this would assist the viewer in grasping more of the nuances being discussed by you. My humble opinion, of course. 👍

Thanks, I will take that as a compliment :) In the PLO Mastermind my content goes deeper into each decision/hand played. Most of the content is not in the form of a full session review, but more about specific spots in the game to understand those better.

Hey Luuk, great content. Find these helpful to reflect and improve my own game. Sorry if this is the wrong place, or too personal question. But I heard Tom talking about you moving to Barcelona, in one of his videos. I have myself been looking for a way to play online poker for a living from Spain, and would really like to find a way to make it possible! but since you might know, poker in Spain is regulated and very highly taxed. Any tips/suggestions? Thanks

Hi Daniel, I am moving to Barcelona temporarily. I don't know much more at the moment than what you said. I will experience this more when I am there. I will still be an official resident of The Netherlands in my situation since its only temporarily. You can reach out to me on discord if there is anything else about this topic we can discuss.
