@@Talz622 There's a point about baiting a counter to get them to fail, it's another to start building it allowing the Counter player ample time to prepare a counter. IE it's better on those who tend to whiff counters expecting it as a last-ditch desperate option - AKA Noobs.

@@gluGPU Which is kinda a shame, size no longer affects the Miis' stats so any Mii can be used - the only real variation factor is the Specials which isn't that hard to decide upon. I know many people banned Miis in Smash 4 due to the size, at least competitively. Most people talked about them not being used Online (at least in For Fun/For Glory - they could be used anywhere else: With Friends, Tournaments) as the deciding factor but it was more about the size than anything else. At least in Smash Ultimate the Miis can be used Online... Shame no one is going to know what my Ezio Mii is supposed to be though...

See, this is why I like the counter system in Smash. When the enemy has this crushing attack that deals massive damage, you have the opportunity to use it against them.

Ok the bites the dust reference was absolutely beautiful and you get a sub just for that.

Honestly I don’t mind when counters are used a get off me moves or as a gimp, but when characters are in the middle of a combo, and mistime a move by one fucking frame and DIE for it..... yeah fuck counters they’re dumb asf in this game.

Thank you so fucking much. Counters really make situations a giant coin flip. It’s so hard to even make a roll read or tech chase because if you mistime ANYTHING by 1 fucking frame, you’re dead.

These are the most entertaining to me when both characters have a counter, so we don’t know who’s gonna do it (i.e. the Ike vs. Greninja clip)
