The “letting go of big feelings” is really good, actually, for all ages, particularly winding down for bed. I think if more kids were taught to acknowledge but not hang onto unnecessary “big” feelings, negative or positive, we’d probably be less anxious overall as adults. And have less sleep disorders lol. Not that you should brush off everything, some events/feelings deserve longterm introspection and respect, clearly. So we agree about a thing, I guess lol. In other news, this candle is very much giving Ebenezer Scrooge 😂

I don't think crunchy moms are like that, my impression of them is that the way they deal with emotions is to confront them and let them go at the end, and if you're worried about the amount of attention and care those moms put into their children, yes that may affect them if them if the moms continue to do this when the child's more grown up

Of course some of it is overkill, such is the nature of satire, but there's genuinely useful (albeit crunchy, but who said that's a bad thing?) advice. Honestly, most of this sounds wonderfully relaxing. I mean, maybe I'd skip the final bit, but you can come tuck me in and read me 12 books!

I lowkey wanna be this mom. Maybe not so overly crunchy, but I wanna grow gardens, use natural medicine, eat healthy foods, buy from morally right companies, read and sing to my kids, etc.
