A few years back when u were still in elites, they decided to not do the berm jump because of high wind. You still hit it durning the race, flying over the other elites in the turn below you. I think it may have caused you to get dead last but it’s the loudest cheer I have ever heard at a BMX race.

Barry, I never saw your channel before. I watch a ton of cycling videos, mostly MTB and cyclocross, and this is one of my all-time favorites! Love the family co-stars, the humor, the film and audio quality. The variety of filming techniques keeps it from being monotonous. My favorite aspect is the lack of "music" that is just audio "clutter." I really appreciate this! Top notch work! Thank you for doing this.

hey their is a new MTB/BMX Flat pedal called the Oneup Aluminum pedals they are about $125.00 but there pedal body is huge it is 115mm x 105mm and has 10 really long traction pins per side, I think you should try them, they are awesome!!

Everybody learns at a different speed, as long as your next time is better than your last you're on the right track!

Would like some instructions on getting started or better getting in & out clip less peddles. 70yrs old went to intermediate last yr & feel keep feet on peddles spinning on landing on jumps plus more power faster gates. Thanks

Awesome riding with you this past winter at Windrock bro! Just moved to charlotte and thinking about going to check out Rock hill. You think its possible to clear the first jump out of the big start hill on an MTB?

Man I’m 32 and use to ride all the time but never raced because money, and when I was 21 I was trying my first flips on a box and over rotated 3 in a row onto my ass each time and herniated 2 disc then my left leg was pinched for months then finally had back surgery and have hardly rode since, but now I have this urge at 32 years old to finally go race but I’m scared to hurt myself but boy your videos make me want to go try to race

Yea all my freestyle bikes are set up that way but you loose a lot of power transfer out of the gate if your bars are too high.
