Absolutely! I think it would be really cool. For people with a dislike of heights though, I can certainly understand if they don't agree.

We just got off Ovation a few days ago...we did the Northstar while near the glacier, loved it! We saw lots of whales on our trip, and even caught a couple breaching while at breakfast one morning...so cool!!!

NO, No, Heck no, afraid of height

Glacier day was my favorite. I was awake by 6:30 and never moved from our balcony until about 11:00. The trip up to the glacier was even better than being at the glacier itself, I thought. All of the tiny little islands that we were so close to were intriguing. But my favorite part was the multitudes of seals basking on the icebergs - sometimes so close that you could hear them barking at the ship - it was A-MAZ-ING!!! (And this was my 3rd Alaskan cruise - I never get bored). We got lots of pics of the Coast Guard helicopter - it never did land - they are way bigger than the evac helicopters that I've seen land on the ships in the Caribbean. We were told the patient was loaded and taken to Sitka for treatment.

do you get close enough to see Calving?

I've missed your vlogs and lives for a while now :-( between my cruise and my daughters passing it's been well... hard to focus even on my love of the water! It's almost 6am and of course cant sleep and so grateful that your vlogs make my heart sing!

I've watched so many of your vlogs and you've sold me on the silent disco. I've never done one on any of my previous cruises, but I'm looking for it on my cruise next month!

I went as far as Skagway when I did Alaska with HAL. then I did a cruise tour from Skagway into the Yukon.

Really dig this video. My family and I take a few cruises a year and have never did any vlogging of our trips. I may give it a try. Also, our next cruise is this glacier cruise on the ship you’re on so we came here to see your content and I like it a lot. Thank you for the content.

I am very excited to see Glacier Bay and your footage was gorgeous, especially from the North Star. I hope we get a day like you did. Before we get to Alaska though we've booked a short trip to New Zealand's South Island so we might visit the glaciers there first. Urgh, men! Indeed Alyssa. They just don't read us well sometimes.

Now I know what we missed!! Was too foggy the day we were scheduled to see Dawes glacier and Captain didnt want to attempt to enter the passage. Rest of the cruise was amazing though.

Oh wow. yeah this was our favorite sea day!

So jealous. It was too foggy when we went through there to see anything 😫 We were on the same ship. Loved it. Have a few videos of our trip on our channel.

Do you feel there was more or less to do on this ship then on Disney cruises? Because my Royal Caribbean cruise stunk..it was an older ship though..

heading on the same boat in August in a Grand Loft Suite with Star Class and Royal Genie.... Hope this was a good investment. Heard I can do the North Star as many times as i want.

You have to have a time slot for North Star, but as long as there are slots available, you can go! Would love to hear about your experience with a Royal Genie! #goals

What time of year did you go? My wife and I are going in 6 days... Any recommendations on what to pack. It says it's 60 degrees in Anchorage now. Is that a warm 60?

Ok I’m debating between Disney Alaska cruise, Ovation or Bliss. We are Disney AP holders so we enjoy it. I’m hearing Griff mention Disney a lot in this video. Help me decide? Do you wish the ship was smaller?

Just got off the Ovation and they cancelled the glacier 😓

We just booked on Ovation! Were you on port or starboard side and would you have preferred to be on the opposite side than you were on? Great videos btw! This is why we booked!

We went in late June. And late August on the Encore. The North Star is free unless you book during “prime” times (which really only happens twice I believe during the trip). Not sure what those prices are though

It was very beautiful!!

You have one of the better videos , actual stabilized B roll. Still a bit overVlogged but it iS a VlOG so that’s expected but it was so great compared to most the other which were just “ hey guysss” then 15 min of talking while half dressed, followed by shaky blurry footage of the glacier and mountain) If only you’d had a longer lens to see it closer maybe I’m person it was better .

Was it alright staying in the inside cabin? I want to save money

Yeah! We actually love staying in inside cabins. We just hang out on deck more. :) The Ovation had an amazing Solarium for glacier viewing!

A machine that makes cold ice and snow should make glaciers grow big and turn global warming to global cooling.
