@@paristoptips Yes, thank you, it’s coming true in a few weeks. I lived there briefly in the early 2000. Have been going back every few years but it’s been 4 years since the pandemic. I can’t wait to return to France!

I've only done one dinner cruise recently, so I could not compare them all, but the one I did with Bateaux Parisiens was very nice, with excellent food, and a perfect timing for the sparkling Eiffel Tower!

Both might get crowded and have the same size of boats. I really would not favor one over the other. Have a great stay in Paris!

The closest to Saint-Germain are the Vedettes du Pont-Neuf. They also have dinner cruises, called "Paris romantique" starting from the Orsay museum.

I chose the Le Calife dinner cruise from 8:45pm until 10:45pm for 5/9. My question is, do you think it's safe for me to take the metro afterwards to my hotel in the 9th arrondisement?

Yes, these cruises use an audio-guide that you can have on your smartphone or through a wired system on the lower deck.

Sunset! Starting by day, finishing by night, with normally the Eiffel Tower sparkling at the hour.

If it is rue Martel, then the closest would be Vedettes du Pont-Neuf, but as you would have to take transport, any would do!

Well, I don't subscribe to Christianity but I have learnt BC and AD, and I'll continue to use them as for me CE and BCE are hypocritical as they arguably imposes a “Christian” time reckoning on non-Christians under the guise of “Common Era.” I'm writing this as I'm in Thailand, where we are currently in 2567 after Buddha attained parinibbāna. So who's right?
