Thanks Katherine, it's a beautiful stretch of canal, and plenty of interesting things to look at besides the scenery. There's plenty more to come from this area.

Fabulous canal, quite hard work though and the western end is extremely busy in the summer. Well worth it though.

Very enjoyable voyage and footage. I usually baulk at the accompanying sound track on canal boat videos but the one you edited in was very pleasant and I was quite sorry when it finished 👍 Regards- Rick

Thanks andrew .out of all the narrow boat channels out there yours makes me want to pack up and buy a boat. I even looked at boats for sale but the exchange between can dollors and the pound is a killer. Cheers, maybe someday I will see you on the water.

Wasn’t really meaning to stay awake but I couldn’t resist watching. A lovely float. I guess getting wet while living on water is going to happen but that was a novel way. Finally starting to melt here. Still dropping below freezing at night. Breakup doesn’t really get into full swing until it stays above freezing at night.

@@talesfromtheswansneck Ya. I've fallen into water many times in my life and I don't live on the water. When I was young my parents would go canoe camping with my sister and I in Onterio, Canada. Always camped on little Islands. Mom said we could swim so she was more woried about us wondering off into the woods if we camped on the mainland. We would walk around the island fishing and we'd fall in at least once a day.

Hi Andrew, over the last few weeks I've been through and now watched all your videos. I've really enjoyed them, thank you. I've been considering becoming a continuous cruiser for some time but my anxiety issues have held me back, watching you though is helping to overcome them, so maybe in the future..... Have you considered a video of your experiences to date on topics such as maintaining your narrowboat, off grid electric tips, internet connections, water/diesel fill ups, waste water disposal, heating, mooring personal security etc etc? I would find it really interesting as you do seem to spend a lot of time out in the countryside and discovered what works best for you. Just a thought ;-) Take care.

Hi, firstly thanks for the ideas for future vlogs, there is some potential in your suggestions. Secondly I'd like to say that I have suffered with anxiety issues all my life so I understand your apprehension about the making the step. Whilst I can still get fairly anxious when facing situations I've never encountered, but I have to say that the benefits of the lifestyle far outweigh the moments of anxiety, and my mental health has improved massively since living on a boat. Feel free to contact me if you want any further advice.

Thanks. Funnily enough a friend asked me if I'd hit the side and I can honestly say that I didn't - or perhaps it was the holiday boat swinging out as it was mooring, but I didn't hit that either.

Your photography is the best that I have seen on any of the narrowboat vlogs. Are you using manual setting or auto settings?

Thanks Glen. As a rule I usually use manual settings, but filming and trying to steer a boat means that I have to use auto settings - usually with an exposure compensation of -1/3
