On October 21 1988, the MV Jupiter cruise ship sank. On board were hundreds of school children, teachers and crew. This disaster saw the death of 5 people, but left many more suffering long after.

My mum survived the Jupiter sinking. She has a book about it.
Bernie was good for a laugh. The last time I saw him was in a bar, as he sat, supping a pint and probably thinking about his beloved Grimsby Town FC. We exchanged nods of recognition.
Oh, i remember that Jupiter was before M/S Silja Wellamo
