If you avoid more risky activities like eating indoors just to take the test and then take it and pass and return to those more risky activities before the cruise doesn’t that defeat the purpose and potentially contribute to the problem?

I always put my clothes on hangers folded in case done it for 20 years plus and so easy straight in to wardrobe not cramped loving your blogs have loverly cruise😎🍻

Just got off anthem last week so this is making me all excited again 🥰 counting down till the end of aug till we’re back on! X can’t wait to watch these vlogs 🥳

I’m definitely a fan of pad Thai, so I hope Nick enjoyed his. That room does look awfully tiny, but for budget prices it’s understandable, and if it’s clean, that’s the main thing.

The Thai food looked delicious 😋... always excited for travel day ! 😃 🛳 x

We haven't had it rough on any cruises so far thankfully. Fingers crossed that continues

Southampton was a cute place. We enjoyed our stay there before one of our cruises. We stayed at the Southampton Harbour Hotel & Spa. It was a beautiful hotel.

Hi guys. Hope you are both well 😍

We always stop in the “ Ibis Budget “ at Southampton and leave the car in the parking, it’s only a night and it’s got everything you need , but if you find it too cramped there are the other two hotels served by the same parking but they are more expensive, considering how much time you spend in the room we don’t think it’s worth paying any more. Any way looking forward to the cruise days.

Ibis Budget - Budget by budget by nature - stayed in one in Cardiff. Family room was double bed with a bunk above our heads for our granddaughter, in the same size room as you were in. Breakfast was terrible, plastic meat as my husband calls it in a continental breakfast. Vowed we’d never stay in one again and we haven’t.

Really looking forward to this series as hopefully booking for next year for my 25th wedding anniversary as although my husband was in the Navy for 24 years both of us never cruised x

We think you will love cruising. Its such a relaxed way to see many different places

We use Doc HQ for our tests before cruising. As a family of 4, you can get everyone tested for less than £60 with a discount code, which is so much cheaper than going to a chemists. And as a bonus they do all 4 on the same call.

Ugh the testing makes waiting for vacation just horrible. We cruise in 47 days and am not looking forward to the test anxiety.

I'm very curious about your convertible car brand?. I have a Cascada and there aren't many reasonably priced options in the US. What kind of convertible car do you have?

Hi Guys, Seemed weird watching this vlog as it’s where we live in sunny Southampton! We use a company called DAM Health for our fit to travel tests who are nation wide they charge £22 for an in person lft & they also do video testing but we prefer to do it in person in case there are any connection issues etc. Can’t believe how small the room at the Ibis was but at least you guys got a bargain with the parking! X

Do you still need to have a mid cruise test? My poor work colleague was on hers and got engaged and her hubby tested positive on the mid cruise testonboard and spent the rest of the trip in self confinement!!! 😬

No you don't have to test onboard. We didn't have to do that last year either.
