GM had some wild upholstery in that era, especially in there higher end cars. The pattern reminded me of the drapes in my grandma's house. The patterns are what made the cars what they were. Didn't know GM had a name for them, but they had names for everything else, so why not. Thank you for the name info. I make fun of the big old Ninety Eight's because I like them. My favorite year of the Ninety Eight was the 76 model.... they were HUGE tanks, with big church window tail lights, and gas guzzling 455 Rocket V-8's.... that were underpowered from all the emission crap the EPA required.

@@OldCarAlley Right on. I've been keeping an eye out for a 1974-76 Cadillac Fleetwood because for some reason I have the urge for a really HUGE car. I would probably have to sell the truck to do so, but I'm ok with that.

1965 was the last year for the 409. Most opted for the new for 65 396.

Yes, your 100% correct. That is why I videoed the car... kinda rare. I have only seen one other 65 with a 409.

Just a suggestion: if you are planning more of these walk around videos, a gimbal for your device would make for a much better viewing experience. They're not expensive.

Yes, I have looked into them, but I can't find one that works good with my older gopro. I might just invest in a camera with video stabilization... like the newest gopro.

Chicken wire on the sides of the hood, I’ve never seen that before.
