Hey this might sound like a dumb question but you'll probably know the answer. So you have the 5.7ls aluminum (corvette ls), I would love one but I'm in a situation where I can get my hands on a 06 gmc sierra 5.3 ls. I know that the 5.3 ls in the truck isn't fast. It feels slow, and my 13b rx8 is faster for sure. But if I swapped the 5.3 ls into my rx8, can I make it fast and sound as good as your 5.7? I know the 5.7 is lighter with aluminum heads, and the 5.3 is cast iron, but how come they're so different speed wise. What would I have to change internally in the 5.3 to make it fast and mean like your 5.7? And can the 5.3 be fast like your 5.7? Thx man, I love watching the power your rx8 makes. Everyone always says just put a 13b rew in it, but it's way cheaper to do a ls swap and you can still drift it with angle mods etc.

@@ericphillips1150 iron blocks are fine, it's all the same just the aluminum blocks save a little weight, and that truck is probably 4k lbs. At least, where the Rx is about 3k lbs. So it'll have a lot less weight to push and it should move pretty well with a good tune especially with a cam and other upgrades
This is the best video ive ever seen. I want it, i was going to get the LFX V6 swap from Keisler Automation, but might do this. The thing handles the power like a supercar. Whats the total cost expected for your exact setup???

My exact setup cost roughly $25k with me doing all the labor. Check the little build breakdown on it here!-> kzread.info/dash/bejne/X2yhxKpmYrjdqLg.html

@@icallmy12gnot12 I don’t even know... I’d assume double it. I’m sure I have hundreds of hours in this car just because I’ve never built one to this caliber before. Thankfully I work on cars as my day job so it’s nothing I couldn’t handle!
whats the name of the wide body kit you're running?
