I used to hate timers in TRPGs. Then I played XCOM 2 and found it to be one of the biggest steps up in quality for a sequel I've ever seen, with it prominently featuring a timer.

It's only the low level enemies that have 1 move/1 attack, higher level ones will have 1 move/2 attacks just as you. The game was prone to crashes but it's mostly fixed now, dev team seems to active a listening for the most part lets see for how long. Hopefully we'll see a performance patch at some point. French voice acting is way better then the English one, at least it sounds better to me not a natural speaker of either. Still needs some minor bug fixes, some QoL improvements and a optimization patch but overall it's a fairly good game. As a long time player of turn based game (since Jagged Alliance 2) I found it quite refreshing and enjoyed my 2 runs so far. I definitively recommend it to any turn based fans.

When I tried the demo the voice acting sounded as if it was AI spoken. Very robotic.

yeah, it crashes even on high end PC's. Not highly optimised.

its actually pretty different in execution tbh.

£16.99 on cd keys... so if you like it, refund from steam.. get it cheaper.

Crown Wars is running at 30FPS on console, absolutely disgraceful, Artifact Studios and Nacon are spitting in your face.

It's a deal breaker for me. No 60fps in 2024? Not worth my money.
