Crown Victoria Police Car Responding Compilation
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
A compilation of most of my videos featuring Crown Victoria Units responding from many different Police and Fire Departments. The first Police version Crown Victoria was produced in 1992 and production ceased in 2011, nearly 10 years later not many units are still in service let alone actively responding to calls. This video features most of the response videos I was lucky enough to capture including some that were filmed before I received a HQ camera so I hope you all understand and still enjoy the video!

There's still a few around... You can always buy a ford crown victoria PI and get it outfitted with a halogen lightbar and some other stuff.. Have it as a display car. That's what I plan to do, have a 2nd FCVPI dressed up as a NYPD car with a proper NYPD lightbar just to have around and display.. probably play with the lights and sirens in the garage. 😆

I like the Ford Crown Victoria police car the best.
You can tell the white ones are the faster ones. The paint just comes right off because of how fast they go.

1:01 that's the oldest POS I've seen.
When I was adopted by my father I never knew he was a police officer because he drove crown Victorias and I remember all of three of his unmarked crown Victorias it’s because he took me to school in them while he head off to work after Dropping me off at school and I miss them now crown Vic’s are sadly gone because they stop making them but I’ll always remember his three unmarked crown Victorias.
CVPIs are like tanks. They're not the fastest but very reliable and can take beatings like a boss. It's a beast with brick-like chassis

@@DanVehicleFan98 i own one, mate. Two years ago i bought myself an unmarked 2011 P7B used by a local PD's detective with 10,000 miles marker in pristine condition for $1,000. 30,000 miles later she is still going strong. Buying a Crown Vic brings me fond memories too. Back in the days where Crown Vics dominated the streets, i could recognise them by the engine sound more than the sirens. I also knew when cops were on night patrol by hearing it. It's one of a kind. You should buy a Panther platform car if you want a cheap, reliable proto muscle car

Btw, in England you can own and drive your very own Crown Vic in full police livery and lights. You can't turn them on whole driving, obviously, although local police sometimes grant permission to use blues and toes on the road for some events. This is something I’d definitely love to do, as a UK fan of these iconic cars - I’ve made it my goal to source a CVPI, find out which department it served with in its history, then give it its ‘uniform’ back with an accurate livery and equipment setup - quite a few people in the UK have done stuff like this, and it’s really cool to see the restoration process involved :)

Sadly they weren't efficient anymore. Big V8 but didn't put out enough HP anymore. The 4.6 is easily one of the most reliable engines you can have but a 2022 Honda Civic is faster then a Vic now days the way they make cars. The Vic will easily outlast any police car on the road today. There's a reason many departments still use them 12 years after being discontinued. They are pure power work horse and reliability all in one. Plus easy as hellllllll to work on.

Police cars are known for there speed they are no ordinary cars.
@dreyone6156
Жыл бұрын
not really. they're ordinary cars with severe duty parts that can withstand heavy use, like improved cooling, redundant brake lines, etc. the police package ECU has a slightly different tune. 3.55 rear axle was an option on some p71s which gave it slightly better acceleration, but p71s are significantly heavier than civilian models so they're about the same in terms of speed

@@henriquedearruda8902 if by "slammer" you mean the push bar, that is designed to prevent body damage from collisions during police maneuvers. It's not used to "slam into the backs" of cars, but it can be used as a battering ram. I am not sure what relevance that bears to the car's speed.

@@henriquedearruda8902 not sure where you got the patently absurd idea that a crown victoria police interceptor can reach speeds of up to 2000 mph. no production vehicle in human history can go that fast. in fact, even a lot of airplanes can't go that fast. the top speed of a crown victoria police interceptor is electronically limited to about 124 MPH. Without the limiter on they can reach speeds of maybe around 137ish MPH at most without performance modifications
