It tends to be my go-to. But I am not a Crown guy, really. I may try it, but without sugar since I think it tends to be sweeter than Bourbon.

I picked up the XO based on your tastings and it did not disappoint

Make a video of every crown ever like that you can get you hands on. No matter the price plz 😩 I’m trying to start a collection but I need to know where to start off and where to end I want a timeline of all crown ever

It’s a matter of personal preference and there is not really a best option. I would probably guess that if you don’t want to do the regular crown perhaps the crown royal 18 would be a good option for you to drink either alone or mixed how you wish. Cheers.

I’ve tryed all of these and the XO tastes the best and the price is amazing at only $39.99… the XR is 129.99 or more usually and it doesn’t really taste better then the XO.. definitely not 3x better not even close lol.

In Canada they made crown royal blenders select and it was my absolute favourite. Then it was discontinued. The Hand select barrel product looks the same bottle and packaging. Does anyone know if this is the same or similar product produced for the US market? Thanks in advance

I did some reading up on the two and they are different because the Hand Select is a single barrel and the Blender’s Select is a batched version (more barrels). The Blender’s Select is supposed to compensate for the Hand Select not being available so, if they did it right, the two should taste very similar.

Crown has a habit of using the same bottle for different expressions. XO and Limited Edition share a bottle(just reversed). Hand select, Blenders and Reserve share the same bottle as well.

I have no clue what you said about the crown reserve…I also found humor in you making a cocktail out of a $150 whisky lol

I gotta say... I just view all Crown as the same thing unless it says it has a different flavoring added. Maybe they are different but unless they have some 120 proof it's all kinda meh to me

The XR is gone. It was last bottled last summer, & is replaced by the new XR 18 year old.

Since then they’ve also released the 23 year apple(don’t buy it, the blend was shit so they covered it), the 29 year (very good), and the 30 year (not as good). And single malt will be released very soon as well.

Also those Caipirinha’s prepared you for some grit in your Old Fashioned 🤣🤣

Realistically, in the neighborhood of $1200. A lot of sites will have it for anywhere from $2400 to $3000. But those are “ hope a sucker walks in” prices.
