Yes. Bird Dog has some excellent bottles. I’m thinking about doing a Crown vs Bird dog vs Starlight. All blackberry flavored and see which one is better.

Great review guys. This whiskey could go the way of Crown honey. Very limited, hard to find and price will only go up on the secondary market. I'm not a CR fan but I do have to say, this is a tasty whiskey for being flavored.

I believe you are correct. The Honey was great and then gone. I remember seeing some sites selling them for astronomical amounts. Heyyyy we do this too on our Happy Hours with Mark and Rachel show. We do a "Thirsty" segment at our bar and Mark makes me a drink. We use the Zero Sugar EVERYTHING because it just tastes better as a mixer, no matter what we are mixing. We do spirits mainly, but we also use different juices too. Cheers to you both! I got a bottle of this and the Salted Caramel the other day. I found it did have a little heat or burn when sipping it. I haven't tried it in a mixer yet though. Hopefully this one does stay limited but they said the same thing about the Peach and we know how that went.

Agreed. Sipping was a little harsh for the proof. Rumchata & starry are the best so far out of everything we have tried out. I’m sure crown royal is going to start only dropping “ limited “ bottle after seeing the hype around this one.

I found a place here in Michigan a month ago asking $70.00 a bottle! I waited and looked around. At a local Meijers they had empty boxes marked Limit 1 at $30.00. I grabbed one for myself and went back the next day and grabbed another for a buddy. Trying it later today before golfing.

For the money, Bird Dog makes a better blackberry flavored whiskey & it's a slightly higher proof. Bird Dog is the better overall choice, although the Crown version is good.

100% agree. Bird dog is one of my favorite flavored whiskies. I like the chocolate chilled and just sip on it some nights. Plus it’s cheaper.

Noted. How about the new spiced coke? Have you tried that one yet? We were thinking about trying that out also. Rob was also thinking about blackberry & vanilla crown mixed together. Seems like there is a lot of good possibilities with this bottle.

Yes we’re going to try the limeade next. I’ve heard that as well. IMO lemonade didn’t really work for me.

Definitely like the white soda with Crown blackberry but white soda with the lemonade and Crown blackberry is pretty good also. Both definitely better than Crown blackberry and lemonade.

We also tried it with Rumchata pineapple. Definitely wasn’t the greatest. Also picked up a blackberry tea but have not tried that out yet.

From what I’ve been told so far by a few store owners is that it has another release drop coming possibly next week if not than some time early April. As of now they are being told this is the last drop and it’s being discontinued. I agree, if sales are there why not make it a staple in the line up. I guess we’ll see.

Only reason I didn’t add starlight into that video was mine was already opened. I’d have to agree as I have a lot from starlight distillery. In my area I don’t see it much.
