In the pacific there is a lot of “ trash tides” sad but a real thing. You are near the doldrums so it is worse. Loved your sailing views and music

For some reason as I was watching you leaving the ship on the tender and heading in, Jim Croce's song Time in a Bottle seemed appropriate to the landscape. Beautiful. This is our hopeful cruise for 2025. Thanks for sharing!

We were on that cruise and as you come back to the ship you can see our cabin. Lowest aft cabin on port side with the Hawaiian flag on the wall. We were on first tender off the ship and caught a cab to a resort where we rented a small boat for 4hrs. Swam with sharks and rays, then with honu(turtles).Sad part is you can hear all the people coughing on the tender and that's where I think I got the horrible bronchial infection that so many had. How hard is it to cover your cough or wear a mask if you're sick? Great cruise, too bad so many were sick. My symptoms crept up slowly and didn't really hit till last 2 days. Took a month to recover.

Wow the views on the tender to the dock are incredible. No excursion needed for me, that was worth the price of admission already! Good stuff.

Well that looks lovely but gotta get away from that port. Looks like the perfect spot to pre arrange a local driver and really see the island. The throngs of people really make me realize a small ship is all I can handle. Thanks for the glimpse of Moorea.

Brought back memories! I was there March 11/12 on the Koningsdam. We anchored in the same spot as the Crown. I went snorkeling on the 11th & just walked around like you did on the 12th. Beautiful island!

Is the port in Moorea really as bad as it looks ? And is all the ports in Southern Pacific as bad as this one ?

This Is OurFirst Time In This Port. For What Ever Reason We Found The Dirty Beach. I’m Guessing Other Parts Of The Island Don’t Have This Issue.
