This video is so on point, so much info, probably one of the best video regarding this trimmer I seen by far, love how you show everything so clearly with the camera work and now you add in the sound tester and when you're showing the machine you told the info it was very clear just perfect, for sure I think I will probably watch your video multiple times because I was thinking of getting this trimmer, but the location where I am in Canada is always sold out or they don't have it yet, regarding the giveaway, I think the bundle is awesome, but if you give away separately you will make more people more happier, so it's up to you, hopefully if I were to win the draw it will be awesome, great content, hope you have a great day or evening

Man I’m on board with the give away for both clipper and trimmer . Also I heard the same thing about how good that clipper is at debulking. I also agree with the slimline type sc blade being a certified hitter lol

I’m looking to replace my old wahl Trimmers, and debating - I’m only using it for shaving my head n face. Just want a clean shave - I’m curious though will I run a higher risk of cutting myself with these?

I have my hands on the wahl hi-viz trimmer right now and since the blade is so slim and thin I was able to precisely shave around my moustache area and I was very happy with how precise I could be. Im done trying to line up and detail my beard with wet shaving. So I’m looking for an excellent beard trimmer. I compared it to the wahl cordless detailer Li (gold one and the silver one) but those have a slightly bulkier blade which meant I couldn’t be as precise. So I really like the hi-viz but I’m still watching videos trying to see what else is out there before I pull the trigger on the hi-viz. I’d love to try this cyborg, saber, and a couple of the babyliss ones because they have better motors… brushless, which is supposed to have more longevity compared to the rotary one’s found in the wahl hi-viz and the wahl detailers. But I’m getting so tired of buying trimmers and returning them lol. So we’ll see what happens. The body of the hi-viz though is seriously dope. Perfectly contoured and compact and it is knurled so you get a good grip. I can’t get my hands on the saber or cyborg they are not available for purchase on Amazon in Canada at the moment so I might test out the babyliss next. I seem to really like the lower profile slimmer blades like on the hi-viz so I might have to get a babyliss with the fine tooth blade as opposed to the deep tooth or standard blades.

im in the same boat as far as selecting between the sabers, cyborgs, and hi viz. I have detailers (li silver) but im looking more for a debulking trimmer. How is the hi viz for d bulking?

@@justziekk since I wrote that comment I’ve tried a lot more trimmers. The babyliss fx3, goldfx, saber, TPOB X. What I’ve come to notice in my experience is that the trimmers that have a gold blade (gold blades are always coated in DLC titanium) is that they run across the skin a lot smoother than black blades. As much as I loved the wahl hi viz at first, now it seems to drag and feel kind of sticky as it drags across my skin. Even after oiling and cleaning it. And so does the TPOB x. Now, the saber and babyliss fx3 (red one), have the gold blades and they seem to just feel very smooth and that’s what I need. Maybe I need to tweak the hi viz more by reducing the gap, but still, even with the gap where I have it now it was once gliding smoothly and now it doesn’t. As for the wahl hi viz for debulking, I can tell you that the teeth are much smaller and finer on it than all of the blades on all the top trimmers I mentioned above. So just yesterday I shaved my head bald using the hi viz, but I tend to go against the grain with it for head shaving, and I find it doesn’t do the best job with that. If u are going with the grain on your neck or cheeks it’s fine, but against the grain on my head it kind of drags. So I didn’t fully finish. I picked up the saber and the fx3 and finished my head with those since I’m testing all of them. I’d say the hi viz is fine for debulking but just understand the teeth are a lot finer shorter on it than on all the other main trimmers which all use the same blade design…. I happen to really like the design of the hi viz blade bc of how small and thin it is. I can be more precise with it like, just above my top lip than with the other trimmers. Update: since u have the saber and cyborg and hi viz, I would put the hi viz at the bottom for debulking since it has the shortest teeth. The sabers teeth are more of a deep tooth blade so you can cut deeper and through more bulk for sure.

@@iconikreviews5377 thank you for the detailed response! Ive been hearing that the cyborg and the saber are essentially the same just a different aesthetic. Im looking for something to pair with my JRL Onyx clippers. What i might end up doing is trying out the cyborg and if im not feeling those, ill get the saber. After what you said, I believe the hi viz could be a solid replacement for my detailers down the road.

@@iconikreviews5377thank you so much for explaining the difference between these trimmers. I was confused on which to buy. I’m choosing between the Sabers and Cyborg

  • @iconikreviews5377

@@DaMixWizard No problem. I heard great things about the cyborg. If you have anymore Q’s let me know. If not for the price tag I probably would keep the sabers. But tbh in my experience lots of these trimmers are very similar. They all have pretty much the same style blade. I can put the babyliss goldfx blade on my TPOB, and vice versa. I can put the saber blade on the babyliss, tpob, you get the idea lol. They (sabers) did not go on sale on Black Friday or post holiday sales. But I think I’ve narrowed down my own personal selection down to the wahl hi viz for my beard and the fx3’s for my bald head. These were both on sale. I need to make a good video review about how I came to this conclusion. Not everyone has the same needs as I do. I’m bald, bearded, and generally hairy so body grooming is also essential. My hair grows fast and it’s coarse. All this time I was using the corded 5 star wahl balding clipper and I thought those were sufficient until I started trying these cordless high end trimmers. The hi viz does a good job shaving my head very closely, but that fx3 is pretty quiet and the gold blade is super comfortable. I mean it just glides across my head like an ice cube. So the fx3 is my new head shaver. The hi viz is laser accurate for my beard. You can see very good bc the blade is much smaller than the others yet it’s still nice wide enough. It’s a really precise blade. Finding a good trimmer has been a game changer for me. Let’s say I have like 5 days of stubble and don’t feel like wet shaving, bc it takes so long, well I can just trim off my stubble growth AND shave my head in like 5 minutes and I’ve reset the clock on my facial/head hair growth. It’s not as close as a wet shave by any means but at least I can make a big difference in just a few minutes. Then I can use a foil shaver right after for even more closeness and that’s only another 2 minutes. I use the Panasonic eslv97 on my neck, and tpob mini skull shaver bc it’s so small and powerful. I didn’t think they made foil shavers so small. It can do all the fine detail spots I need it to where the Panasonic would be way too huge and inaccessible in those areas. Above top lip, upper cheeks, chin area, etc. For me it’s been a game changer because I’m a hairy guy and hated wet shaving bc it takes me so long, so I probably value the trimmer and foil shaving experience more than the average person.
