Crowley was never interested in making the deal. He went through the rigmarole of nitpicky negoatiation so Dick wouldn't just kill him out of spite. I'd wager he even made Dick feel clever by catching a few sneaky loopholes in the contract, which Crowley put on purpose to raise his confidence that he was in control. Now, he *still* made a plan B in case Crowley betrayed him, but he wasn't going to just kill Crowley and *guarantee* that the Winchester's come at him with a viable weapon.

BTW more and equally beautiful views in Canada with more people. I'd almost assume Alaska would be in the the deal, because what self respecting leviathan would even fly over Canada for a few humans. plenty more in the C 48

Dick may be older than Angels, but Crowley has been writing backhanded deals for a long time, and it seems he's gotten quite good at it. The brothers should be happy that demons are lazy incompetent sleazeballs, if Crowley had people following him half has loyal and obedient as leviathans were to Dick, he'd have taken over the world already.

I love the idea that making Roman go through a 5ft long contract in painstaking detail throughout the entire night was Crowley’s subtle revenge for Roman insulting the crap out of him in Slash Fiction

Your choice kiss the crossroads demon possessing the hot lady or spend a few all nighters going through the contract Although in my opinion I think they dropped the old contracts because the humans keep outsmarting them by finding some loophole in the wording to exploit whereas the kiss method is unwritten so it is basically up the demon’s interpretation of the deal

the contract part was amazing. the king of hell, would of course be the king of bullshit tricky deals to screw you over and take your soul. that's the stuff of myth, but then Dick seemed to be the spirit of corporate sleeze incarnate. a wonderful match, if albeit one that the king would no doubt win in the end

2:20 the look of pure disgust 😂 a top 20 supernatural moment for me

they could've let the leviathan story go a couple seasons. Dick was a great actor.

I don't think that is quite the case. He holds the contract, and the demon that holds a contract can cancel it if they so choose. Remember back to the episode that introduced hell hounds. Dean trapped the demon that held the guy's contract until she called it off. Then again with the demons that were killing off the victims early. Crowley just dismissed them all when Dean asked him to.

Don't get me started on that. I have a friend who would put one army down ok n other countries. He would also stockpile onto half of Australia the rest of his troops and take the rest of it next turn.
