The bookshop scene breaks my heart, Crowley adores Aziraphale and him thinking he’s gone is so sad, Aziraphale is just afraid of living Crowley because ‘his side’ has been so strict with him he’s grown to fear going against anything Gabriel says and kind of tried to keep his friendship with Crowley as private as he possibly can. Oof got on a bit of a tangent there lol

I also have a tangent but I was thinking recently, why was Crowley so devastated when Aziraphale got discorporated? He knows how that works, probably had was discorporated once or twice also, and in they book I’m pretty sure they discorporated each other just to be annoying (it’s been a while since I’ve read it). Then I realized, he didn’t think it was normal earth fire. He thought it was hellfire. He thought the other angels got to his angel before he did, and *burned him.* He thought they killed him and let his bookshop burn alongside him. He thought Aziraphale got his death sentence before him. And he blamed himself NOT TO MENTION the last words he had said to Aziraphale were “and when I’m off in the stars, I won’t even think about you” bRUH

watching this after season 2

Anyone noticed? The bookshop inferno starts with the candle setting a theatre programme of "The Sound of Music" on fire...

if this had played instead of "You're My Best Friend" everybody would have broken down we wouldn't have survived 😭😭😭
