I will have to admit that I did in fact not cry when I first saw the kiss scene, but seeing them like this... with MITSKI I mean, how bad are we? HOW ARE THEM there are tears in my eyes and this is genuinly beautiful, Im so so happy.

I'm coming back because I finally got to watch season 1 to season 2 and let's just say that I will not be sane for the next few days after watching this. Thank you for this edit, I will cry over this now

Good video, well edited with a fitting song. It also reminds me of why I threw away notions of them being a couple after the first season - Crowley calls Az his 'best friend' many times. In hindsight, it was always there, just one sided. I hope in season 3, Az will realise his true feelings, learn to accept them and find a way to show them.

I believe he already has, he did say that they could be together in heaven. He believes fixing heaven is the most important thing and being a typical noble hero of sacrificing what he wants for the greater good. Not realising he's probably walking into a trap after The Megatron knew exactly what buttons to push because "people are so predictable" . Aziraphale has been particularly loved up this season, even excitability pulling him into a "romantic dance" and I think he may have been even more bold later on as he got swept up in the moment. But then the demons ruined the mood and separated them, then The Megatron pulled them apart again, setting up the whole scene *he literally said he knew Crowley would act that, he's like a dark empath*

@@music2012pink I agree with you on several points there, although I still don't think Aziraphale realises his true feelings and how powerful they are. It's either that or he's shoving them aside for the sake of duty. I also think you're right about Metatron - it's most certainly a trap. What makes feel sad the most is when Aziraphale wants to change Crowley back into an angel, instead of accepting him for who he is.

@@beck86 thank you, I see what you mean, I think he may not understand to the extent of his feelings and that he thinks he could shove them aside for duty, trying to catch himself every time he thinks of being selfish and is as the British say "keep calm and carry on" perhaps smiling through the pain and focus on all the good he will do which will show Crowley that heaven can be fixed, then he will join him. That is very sad, Crowley has told him repeatedly that he is not that person anymore, but Aziraphale still doesn't understand. I think that maybe because he believes heaven is full of good and hell is full of evil, he believes that you can't have a good demon without then still having a bit of an angel in them. He has seen Crowley being good countless times, thwarting the will of hell, being deep down a good person at heart. But misinterprets this as still being an angel at heart, trapped inside a demon, and he doesn't see it as changing him but instead setting him free. Just as he still can't wrap his head around how toxic to the core heaven is, still believing what he did in season 1 that he can convince heaven to do better and don't have to do what they're doing; because heaven is ultimately good and wants to be saved right? But heaven already thinks they're perfect and *wants to* prove that by fighting hell in the apocalypse. Believing that good is always holy and what is holy is ultimately good means he sees no problem with restoring Crowley and fixing hell together; because he's not able to accept that they're ok with how things are, that they don't want or need saving. But I believe that being in the position he is now in heaven will eventually force him out of that black and white thinking he's been conditioned in for so long and enables him to truly accept Crowley as he is. Hope that makes sense I get quite rambly when I'm tired and hungry.

​@@music2012pinkmy take on it is that Aziraphale saw how happy and unafraid angel Crowley was making his galaxies and he feels that he deserves to be free of the pain and trauma that the Fall inflicted on him. Of course, that's a part of who Crowley is now and that's not a decision Aziraphale can make for him, but I don't think it was ever a matter of Aziraphale thinking Crowley needed to be an angel to be worthy. I think Aziraphale still thinks Heaven is deep down intrinsically good though and wants to reform it to be worthy of Crowley and then welcome him back there. He still needs to learn that the system of Heaven is working exactly as it was designed to.

@@takayamijai made this entire thing on the inshot app on my phone, which has a feature that lets you isolate audio clips and edit them separately. i did my best to edit around background music with strategic muting, but thankfully most of the voiceovers i chose (like crowley's confession) already didn't have any background music, which made it easy!
