Tennant and Sheen said multiple times that they are in love romantically. SPOILER When the bookshop burns down Crowley comes out of it while "somebody to love" plays in the background "A Nightingale sang in Berkeley square" is a love song. They couldn't be more direct than that lol

Considering they funded this project, I should hope so! I have to admit, it took the show to make me recognize some of the book references ('Wait, that 'nightingale in Berkeley Square' thing is a love song? I must re-read this immediately!'). But I think even book readers who didn't see them as a couple, per se, would have been confused if there was a sequel that involved anything other than the two of them bickering, drinking wine, and eating crepes for the rest of eternity, or at least until earth needs saving again. ("Huh? Crowley got a girlfriend? That doesn't seem right...")

I cannot get enough of these actors, by far my all time faves. I met David Tennant when I was around 7 as they were filming for Doctor Who near my house and he was so so nice to me, I was waiting nearby with some paper and a pen hoping to get an autograph and he almost skipped over during a quick cut and signed my paper and gave me a quick hug before running back. I'll never forget that. And Michael is just an absolute sweetheart, my friend worked in a big department shop in Cardiff and Michael walked in one day, my friend wore a little badge that said "I speak Welsh" so Michael beelined it to him. My friend walked around the shop with Michael and his partner speaking Welsh and they weren't even talking about products or anything, Michael just wanted a chat. Honestly the nicest guys ever

Ah, Good Omens. A story of two people who love each other dearly, and find it deeply annoying to love each other.

I actually think they're much closer on the morality spectrum than you (the description) give them credit for. The whole point of the show is that neither of them is as good or bad as they are supposed to be. They're morally gray people, even if as angel and demon they're 'supposed' to be black and white.

Even my mom caught on by the third episode with no hints from me. She was just like "They're totally in love!"

😅😅😅I know! That makes me burst out laughing every time!

I love that the best way Aziraphal could threaten Crowley is saying “... or I’ll never talk to you again”

It's a testament to their acting skills that you can tell they are pretending when they are disguised as eachother.

They are 100% in a love story that’s mixed with a story of the world ending! (I’m not actually angry because they crossed out love story, it’s just what I believe. I’m saying this because some people might misinterpret what I’m saying.)

Alejandra Alanis Imho almost everyone, including Amazon Prime, considers them to be a love story :) Hence the joke - it's like a strange will-they/won't-they taken to a new extreme 😂 At the same time if anyone sees them as "just" best friends and it inspires them to be a better friend then I'm not even mad at it :)

That random guy misinterpreting what happened and telling Aziraphale he's better off without Crowley will forever be one of the funniest moments in this series to me.

Not sure that was a misinterpretation....

The video started with the moment Crowley fell in love with Azi, and ended with the scene where Azi realised the feeling was mutual. Incredible.

Crowley calling Aziraphale for a lunch it's his short way to say "i just want to see you doing anything, and when you eat you're happy and I like it. I like to watch you smile. I also love to chat with you about food even if I don't want/like to eat because you're so happy and pretty"

They're so iconically shipped that even UK's Amazon Prime thinks they should just shut up and kiss already

Just - the fact that Aziraphael is always on Crowley's right side, all the time, in every shot (on camera, he's therefore on the left side, but it's Crowley's right - with very few exceptions) just makes me so happy. It also makes the scene stand out so much more where they switched bodies, because they're still sitting on their respective sides on the bench, even though they're in the other person's body. The amount of details and symbolisms and metaphors in this series is amazing! Every time I rewatch it, I spot another tiny detail. Sometimes it's the choice of words (like Crowley's "deep down" vs Zira's "at heart" in that final scene), or just the fact that Zira's wings open high up and move downwards, whereas Crowley's move upwards ... So amazing!

The body-swap scene near the end - that subtle difference in the character's voices - lovely bit of acting

“Or I’ll never talk to you again” too adorable 😭 I just love this just wholesome

I've watched so many of these moments I keep repeating them because there so cute. When I first watched this I. Was like shouldn't the demon be getting into trouble more than a angle. It's cute that aziraphale gets into trouble just so crowley can come and save him. Love this video by the way

Corona Alonso ya shows are usually very strange about shipping to male actors in shows (I know angels and demons have no gender) but gay couples in tv shows are usually only in fandoms and not mainstream media. I love that amazon is Embracing the ship!🤍

@@ktkennedy7421 oh most of my Ineffable Husbands group was very quick to remind everyone that oysters are considered an aphrodisiac and that Aziraphale was definitely trying (awkwardly) to flirt in the end.

One of my friends is named Michael and I greet him like this every now and again. He has never seen the show, so his reaction every time is priceless.
