Trust VoicePlay to bring the emotions, they are totally genius at doing that. Their arrangements, their voices, their body language, it all works together to give you the feels. Best bunch of weirdos on the planet. Possibly in the universe. In my opionion. It's the way they take a song up to a huge climax then bring you right back down to a peaceful conclusion.

No need to apologize for re-watching or even restarting the song. We're all for it. Every time I watch this one, I still want to reach out to the guys and just give them a hug and let them know they're perfect just the way they are. Thanks for your reaction. This is so beautiful and takes me back to high school days when so many of us all wished we could be special too. Eli did a great job on the arrangement as well as the staging/lighting. They ARE the BEST type of "too much". The reason we like watching reactions to Voice Play is to see how VP "breaks" reactors. It's seeing that overwhelmed response that we felt the first time hearing these songs on someone else's face that confirms - it wasn't just me. They ARE that Good. The way they feature guests and highlight everyone's talent is next level. I just saw Haley's version yesterday and although it was fantastic, I think Voice Play's is more about pulling on our heart strings. VP digs in and just sits in your soul. They become a part of the song. Post Modern Jukebox is a master class in that genre and brings so much to it, but it's about that style more than getting the emotions just right. Voice Play's newest song Classical Chaos uses characters they call "the Grendel's" from an older piece Hall of the Mountain King. Watch Mountain King first, though. As wild and wonderful as both songs are, Mountain King will prepare you for the Chaos. VP really are like film makers telling a story with the music and every little bit they add makes it an experience for us. Geoff and his wife worked at Disney World in Florida so they bring a little magic to the mix. Anthony G. Is also in Golden Hour and will break your heart in a good way.

They just recently did a cover of black hole sun by sound garden with anthony. Its awesome! 😊💜💜

Sometimes I force myself to pick one singer at a time and focus on just him for the entire performance. It's amazing how many things I finally HEAR, even though I've "heard" the cover scores of times. One of my favorite moments comes around 6:30, when the boys cut off the "o" at the end of "weirdo" and make it part of the next phrase: " . . .weird . . . oh, what the hell am I doing here." Also that bit they do with "body and soul" in the background during Geoff's solo. And I could go on. This is the best "Creep," and yes, I know the original, and Haley, and Brian Justin, all of whom are fabulous.

Enjoyed your reaction- thanks! Usually Geoff or Layne take turns doing all the arrangements and editing and Eli does all the lighting and technical effects but Eli did the arrangement, editing, and lighting so this one really showcased Eli's talent. Eli's name is pronounced like it rhymes with jelly , short for Eliezer.
