i like how the dialogue in this fight is actually more serious than the ruthless one, this is because sans in ruthless knows he cant get through to convincing you, so he just screws with you instead (doesnt work). but in evacuation he still has a glimmer of hope that you can change.

@@cetadel6597 On ruthless route, it's heavily implied that he knows that we can come back from the death, as well as in evacuation route. On ruthless route he even mocks every time you die and come back, it'd obviousl that he knows about our powers.

I have absolutely no idea how they managed to make all 3 end-of-starlight isles boss themes go so hard, but i am all for it. UT fandom eating good in 2024 It was also a major shock when Crossbones revealed that he can instantly switch places with Sans whenever he takes off his mask!

I just realized the pun in the name of the song! It is CROSSroad chaos like CROSSBONES! Also the song is a parody on song that might play when you fight sans except gives a little more “I’m going to stop you” vibes which is quite fitting considering how sans is a superhero in this game.

I think the this boss is my favorite of the 3. I love how the acts slowly get more fun as the fight continues.

So far I have only played compassion. does evacuation only get triggered by aborting ruthless or does it also get triggered by killing enough enemies in the starlight isles after a mostly peaceful ruined home? I am trying to figiure out what sans says if you killed a few monsters in starlight isles as his compassion route diologe about not having any reason to have a grudge against you does not make sense in this situation but I could not find anything.

This is just me going off gameplay videos. If you kill a few monsters in compassion, I think that leads to a neutral. You will still be put in the Crossbones fight and his dialogue will be different. It’s probably only when you reach the kill count and every NPC has dipped (in that current area, not the other) that leads into evacuation or when you abort a ruthless route.
