He had so many clever ideas that would’ve altered the world into something fake and empty. He would’ve altered anyone who told him he was going too far. He would’ve altered anyone who feared or was worried for him. And he never would’ve stopped until it was all gone. Thank heavens he saw the light and said no.

Bro I literally felt hurt in book 10 at the flashback where Qibli gives his mother a coconut and she smashes it into the ground because he shouldn't have been weak and given it away. I like the idea of the resentment of his mother boiling up, and Thorn did make him happy, but her sending him go Jade Mountain made him feel disowned all over again. And right when he was starting to open up to his friends, they turned out to be hiding things from him, and then when Darkstalker offered Qibli to be an animus, Qibli finally got what he wanted: a way to make the world a better place

My theory? Hm.... I think that once Qibli accepted Darkstalker’s offer, either Darkstalker enchanted Qibli to turn evil or he did on his own. Whatever the reason, Darkstalker wasn’t defeated and Moon, Qibli and Winter decided to stay in the old nightwing palace for a bit. That is where this takes place. Moon doesn’t think that Qibli’s decision was right, and he gets angry and fights with her. After this he leaves Moon and Winter to go back to the sand kingdom, get revenge on his family, or enchant more things. Meanwhile, Kinkajou, Turtle and Anemone are at Jade Mountain and Foe Slayer is at the nightwing kingdom. Idk this is just my idea

Holy cow, this MAP gave me absolute chills. The lip-sync was on-point. All of the animators did extremely well! The movement and art direction in this is also spot-on! One of my favorite WoF MAPs ever!

I’ve never once read a single wings of fire book and I have no idea who these characters are, but these animators have me so invested in the characters! I was so pumped for this map, like 110% pumped- despite me having no idea who these characters are, the animators did such a good job with how distinct their designs and personalities are that I feel like I know the super well. To all the animators, jeez that was great!

The spikey white one’s name is Winter and is fittingly an Ice dragon, the purple one with a white teardrop scale is Moonwatcher (Moon for short) and is a night dragon with rare mind reading and future seeing abilities, the third is a sand dragon by the name of Qibli. WOF is a book series with several books and a different main character for each book that together tell one or a few stories depending on how you look at it. These are some of the main protagonists from the books. This is an alternative universe map where Qibli turns evil and obtains an incredibly powerful magic refered to as animus magic. These are great books that really all ages can enjoy, highly recommend them.

My theory: After Qibli accepted Darkstalker's offer, the SandWing helped the NightWing convince all the NightWings that had stayed in the rainforest to come back to the old kingdom with Darkstalker. The NightWings were content and stayed there. After that, Qibli went to the Kingdom of Sand and, overcome with power and greed, challenged Queen Thorn. She refused, but he insisted. Days of arguing passe. Finally she agreed, though hesitantly, as she didn't want to hurt the dragonet she had taken from his abusive mother all those years ago. Qibli had no similar feelings of uncertainty about his decision. With his magic, he won easily and became the first SandWing king. Moon and Winter heard about this and flew to the SandWing Stronghold. There they confronted Qibli, who was happy to see them at first. But when they told him why they had come, to convince him to put on an enchanted earring to rid himself of the magic Darkstalker gave him, he got angry. He tried to attack Moon, and Winter jumped in his way. This is where the MAP begins. EDIT: Is nobody going to talk about how cute DrBubbles's Moon is??

I missed the premiere but I am LOVING it! I've rewatched it over and over again and it's obvious everyone really went all out for this one. Like seriously replaying this on loop and seeing every part, admiring the hand drawn effects, editing, and animation I am stunned to bits by all the talent!

*OMG THAT TURNED OUT WAY BETTER THAN I EXPECTED!!* *MY EYES ARE LITERALLY FILLED WITH TEARS CAUSE ITS SO FLIPPING BEAUTIFUL!!!*

Ah I’ve been so anxious to see this!! I can’t believe how amazing this turned out. Everyone did so incredible, I wish I could’ve snagged a part but seeing the end result is just as much of a reward. Plus the AU is amazing too

IT'S DONE!? OKAY I'LL PROBABLY MISS THE PREMIER BUT, I've seen most of the individual parts already so I can confidently say that this is gonna be absolutely AMAZING :D Only one more day...
